    I was taught basics a long long time ago as a young teen.(I'm in my sixties).
    One learns real fast after several hard punches in a ring.
    We were taught more or less the same as you instruct.
    I think it better to keep one's arms a little higher though as fast cross can be deadly.
    I enjoyed your lesson. Brought back many memories.
    Good show.

    This is a footwork video, not a punching video. Different positions will allow you to do different things more easily. You have to try them all and see what works best for you. You should definitely check out my other videos and also boxing stance guides on my website.

    I've made 3 videos already setting up right cross, left hook to the body, right hand to the body. Are there other punches you want to learn how to setup?

    Exactly! You really learn how to fight with boxing. The sport is refined and can teach you many things about fighting skills and fighting reflexes that aren't as refined in other sports.

      expertboxing do you wear boxing shoes on the street then also? ive been using skate shoes i never have any mention problems with them, there pretty flat so you can stand on the board n thick to take impacts.

    • @jacktran5260
      @jacktran5260 9 років тому

      FuckMySubscribers aus hahah why would you ask if he wear boxing shoes on the street.

    • @jhowardsupporter

      Jay Cole uh the skateboard should be an indication as to my poor attitude.

    • @jacktran5260
      @jacktran5260 9 років тому +1

      FuckMySubscribers aus That's funny. If you were implying the use of boxing footwork in a street fight, it would not be very effective since the streets are not flat and smooth.

    Thank you so much for your amazing tips. It helped me improve significantly overall as a fighter. Using your tips every day, I trained hard and was able to defeat tough, powerful fighters in Balrog, Vega, Sagat, and Bison. I did have a lot of trouble fighting Bison because he used moves I've never seen before. The jump rope training helped my footwork greatly so I was able to dance around Bison and landed some crucial uppercuts that proved too much for Bison to handle. Now I am searching to find the Dark Hado

The walking was also a nice one. great tips, even when i know these its always nice for a recap. nice vid man
