I was taught basics a long long time ago as a young teen.(I'm in my sixties).
One learns real fast after several hard punches in a ring.
We were taught more or less the same as you instruct.
I think it better to keep one's arms a little higher though as fast cross can be deadly.
I enjoyed your lesson. Brought back many memories.
Good show.
This guy is just everything ! Thanks for all the amazing tips
Tammy Cyster You're very welcome!
+Saulius Girdauskas he's a expert
Hey man this is a Lil off topic but I just wanna say thanks alot, you've helped me become a way better boxer. And you've helped me out in my flaws alot, thank you so much :)
I'm proud of you, man. Keep doing it!
expertboxing do you wear boxing shoes on the street then also? ive been using skate shoes i never have any mention problems with them, there pretty flat so you can stand on the board n thick to take impacts.
FuckMySubscribers aus hahah why would you ask if he wear boxing shoes on the street.
Jay Cole uh the skateboard should be an indication as to my poor attitude.
FuckMySubscribers aus That's funny. If you were implying the use of boxing footwork in a street fight, it would not be very effective since the streets are not flat and smooth.
Thanks Katie. Keep me updated on your progress. Good luck out there!
Dude your videos are the best and I have been watching them for a few years... I recommend them to all my beginners and show them your stuff including your web page! THANK you for your knowledge
Love your channel man. I am just doing boxing training for fitness and fun and do not intend on fighting and your vids are awesome. Clear and concise explanations that are easy to understand even for a beginner.
Learned so much from your'e tip's Johnny, really great teaching. Iv'e been boxing for around 1 and a half months now and just some tips here greatly improved my understanding and movement.
Thank you so much for your amazing tips. It helped me improve significantly overall as a fighter. Using your tips every day, I trained hard and was able to defeat tough, powerful fighters in Balrog, Vega, Sagat, and Bison. I did have a lot of trouble fighting Bison because he used moves I've never seen before. The jump rope training helped my footwork greatly so I was able to dance around Bison and landed some crucial uppercuts that proved too much for Bison to handle. Now I am searching to find the Dark Hado
Thank you.you help me win so many street fights thanks
Good for you, David. I hope they were "honorable" street fights.

Exactly! You really learn how to fight with boxing. The sport is refined and can teach you many things about fighting skills and fighting reflexes that aren't as refined in other sports.

I really liked the advice of taking 'smaller steps' to get in and out of range. I just jump in and out, but I find that my legs tire really quickly. I can't wait to try this during sparing. Thanks a lot - those are awesome tips!

i really liked the tips on pointing your feet in different directions as well as lowering your hands. i usually stay outside of the bubble with my hands down. i would get confused at why it was harder to move around when i was shadow boxing with my hands up. great tips homme!
