Step 1: Create factory Step 2: Start producing weapons, armor and ammo. Step 3: Create supply line containing said weapons armour and ammo. Step 4: In a different settlement, start suiting up your settlers Step 5: Wait for an attack Step 6: When an attack happens say something along the lines of: *HEY RAIDERS! REMEMBER LAST TIME YOU RAIDED US AND KILLED MOST OF THE SETTLERS? WELL, SO DO I!*
So, how does one go about connecting all the forges to the same conveyor belt assembly, thus leading all forged items from all forges into the same storage?
that is extremely helpful cuz i be running out of resouces on copper steel and wood and glassand lots of other things as well for my builds on fallout 4
OK I may be a bit confused on something. I have a ammunition machine and a small system. Is it supposed to use the components in the items to make the ammo? Or do I need to break them up first. The junk in the ammo builder does not do anything when I have stuff I scavanged in it such as the 2mm ammo. Or does everything need to be broken down into its raw components before I put in? I thought the sorters were supposed to do that
+Eric Whelan you have to connect a terminal to the ammo machine and select what type of ammo you want to make. It will tell you then what components you need to make the specific type of ammo. Hope this helps man
That part I got. What I am confused on is when the components from the junk hiut the ammo plant nothing happens so I was wondering if I needed to break the junk down first into the components. I am using the component sorters and they look like they are sorting right and going into the right hoppers but once the actual item such as the phone or plastic plate into the ammo plant nothing happens. Did that make sense?
+Eric Whelan I see what you mean. You should not have to break the junk down into components. I have run things just like you describe and it should work. The only problem is you lose whatever components are not needed. For example if you need steel for something and put in a shovel. The wood components from the shovel just disappear once the shovel breaks down to use the steel.
Not bad. One suggestion is you can build a truly impressive factory on Spectacle Island due to the huge budget. I'm currently working on a complex dedicated to ammo and teddy bears. Gotta keep my Junk Jet fed (killing raiders with teddy bears and billiard balls never gets old).
Mischuff Gaming Due to the terrible terrain it may take some work. PC gamers like myself can simply "scrapall" with console commamds but console users dear god do I fill your pain. That island is a nightmare manually clearing out all the junk. I rarely build a settlement on Spectacle Island due to the sheer size. Settlers tend to wander all over the dam island... the bell is key here.
Can one make a Marine Assault Armor with these builders? Also, these factories are more for weaponising settlements and making stuff for display cases than anything. Resource drain is way too much. Though you can just make a conveyer system and send some items in an infinite loop so it would seem busy~
I have not seen the Marine Assault Armor as an option here. I have a new build I am planning that will be making use of that infinite loop your talking about. But yea, the resource drain from these builders makes them pretty useless for actual gameplay.
Seriously! The amount of materials needed just to make simple items is crazy. These are just fun items to play around with but definitely not very practical or useful right now.
+fiacreativity1991 yea man! They have plenty of mods for PS4 now. Just go to "mods" on the main startup screen to download them. I have a couple videos showing some mods off too if you want to check those out.
A tip for a lot go create a taco farm and make a food line just one producer then a collected take half your cloth and stick it in the producer and every one and a while refill it start collecting tatos and once you have collected all your tatos go to diamond city and take all their tatos fast travel back and fourth between your settlement and diamond city and them farm again repeat that process every time you need tatos then produce preserved instamash then you can sell your instamash and buy anything you want its a good method to make tons of money
Mischuff Gaming I picked preserved instamash because it takes the least amount of resources but if you want to use another food item you can modify the technique to allow for more advanced food items
Did you side with the Brotherhood of Steel? Seriously? I don't mean to hate, but I hate the Brotherhood. Mind you, only because they kill ALL synths. Gen 3's are basicly people, and should treated as such! JOIN THRE RAILROAD TODAY!! By the way, absolutely loved the video! =D
You could do the settlement glitch where you can increase build size just drop all weapons and then store them and the size goes down didn't know if you knew :)
You can eliminate the supply side of building with this mod. With it all your Forges are already loaded with all the items needed. www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/16334/? Sure it's a cheat, but without it you must drop all your junk, scrap it in build mold, pull the items you need out of your workshop, needed.load them into the start of the build run, then you build the maze of conveyors to further sort. Way too time consuming.
+Being Glaun unfortunately I'm on ps4 so no mods yet...hopefully one day. Thanks for the advice tho I'll check that mod out if it ever becomes available.
mods already came out for ps4 like the waste land work shop dlc and the contraptions dlc and far habor and nuka world and automatron dlc and the vault tec dlc check em out their pretty cool and good to use
WOW! It’s 2022 and I just discovered this awesome game. Can’t believe how much work people have put into these settlement builds. Amazing, great job!
This is a great system. I just started messing around with manufacturing so I never even thought of something like this.
Glad you enjoyed and thanks for checking out the video. I have a few more about different parts of the manufacturing pieces if you are interested!
@@MischuffGaming dude you are a legend for building this I hope that all is well with you
I loved how you are making combat rifles next to teddy bears, lmao.
staying strapped
get you sum rad away

So, how does one go about connecting all the forges to the same conveyor belt assembly, thus leading all forged items from all forges into the same storage?
Yes sir! 5 yes old and this is still a front page video
1. You can increase the build limit without mods btw
2. How come you don't just put the vacuum hopper up to the workbench?
that is extremely helpful cuz i be running out of resouces on copper steel and wood and glassand lots of other things as well for my builds on fallout 4
Badass setup! Take some rad away 😂
this is like an episode of how it’s made lol
How do you unlock the ability to make .44 ammo? I don’t have the option to buy that’s the caliber I need
You gotta upgrade your GUN NUT Perk and SCIENCE Perk to be able to craft .44 Ammo.
I have done it on my second comp wich is laptop and it defnitley means that but at least i know it can handle allmost dobble
awesome build. I'm on my 6th playthrough right now as soon as I get my guy high enough I'm going to try and build this.
+zzzACE73 zzz nice! This took me a while to build. Good luck. I'm working on a nuka cola bottling factory now. Hope to put that video up soon
Mischuff Gaming cool I'm subbed
+zzzACE73 zzz thanks for subbing!

paul from the skooled zone sent me! i think ur awesome anyway tho!
that shoutout was awesome! and thanks for checking out my channel.
not a problem at all! :)
Commenting on this 100 years later but it occurs to me that there's only one kid in the commonwealth, and it's Piper's little sister.

Mischuff Gaming I wanted to clad some of my settlers in Marine Armor. I gues I'm gonna be sole wielder then.
Nice man!
+Weeohhweeohh thanks!
Its not max limit it is stands for recommended stability so that you dont get blue screen
I started a new game, wanted easy ammo, this helped a TON
BTW, I subbed
+Noah M. Glad this helped and thanks for subbing!
Can you give us a way to build this warehouse for ourselves, it’s absolutely amazing and so hard to build just from this video alone
i tried doing this type of thing in my game but its so hard getting the materials in survival.....dam weight limit

Mischuff Gaming sorry for spelling mistake some phrases in fallout are not in the phone and autocorrect messes it up
+Grandeagles Gaming 22 no problem
Mischuff Gaming I picked preserved instamash because it takes the least amount of resources but if you want to use another food item you can modify the technique to allow for more advanced food items
Mischuff Gaming its not as good as massive factory but it's great for early game
you know u can hack the limit size by taking all ur weapon out of the workshop and putting them back in through the the editor.
I have used the glitch before. It was a real life saver for building these larger settlements. Thanks for checking out the video bud!
i use conveyor belts to transport robots
Creative!
@@MischuffGaming it was originally a joke but it turns out it can work
Yes, the game does not need anything other than the manufacture of ammunition. Why all these factories?
+KARFAGEN ammo factories are really useful but just build these forbfin
Can you do a how to on this
Are you looking for the building or the conveyor built setup?
Both lol if possible
I would definately like to duplicate this. Thank you
Could I send u a friend request on PlayStation b/c I have been trying to build a factory myself
+Ian Salisbury sure thing man
i were so bored i made a toy factory
