Wow, I have watched a zillion headboard to bench videos, and yours is the first to explain the Kraig jigs and the finishing details! Thank you so much!
This is the best video I’ve seen on making a headboard bench, you are so thorough and clear! I have almost the exact same one too. Looking forward to more content
i know Im asking the wrong place but does someone know a way to get back into an Instagram account? I stupidly forgot my password. I love any assistance you can give me!
@Lennox Hunter i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site through google and Im in the hacking process now. Seems to take quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
Nice video! One thing I noticed is that the stretcher was kinda bowed in the middle. Whenever this happens to me, I always measure from the outside ends and not the middle, since it's bowed. If I'm making any sense here 🤦♀️. That way that brace that you add pushes the bow out and you'll have a nice consistent reveal on the front. Also for the seat slats you want to make sure the end grain direction is facing down that way when they start to "cup", it's cupping down and not up towards you. I hope I'm making sense. I was looking for some inspo on what to do with a headboard I found thrown out on the side of the road. It's all solid oak with massive "farmhouse" style legs with no defects similar style to the ones in your headboard 😳. Nevertheless, thanks for sharing
Thank you for this informative video. I am getting ready to make a bench. Would you be able to send me the exact type of wood needed & the precise cuts of each piece?
Upcycling is a word somebody made up to sound crafty and community-conscious. It makes the person using it seem uppity and arrogant in my opinion but everyone knows what they say about opinions, mine are always correct!

Instructions we simple to follow. Very nice work. Paint products information was also helpful.
Great video...even a newbie can follow along and not feel overwhelmed!
I even left out a ton of detail but the video would be too long if I mentioned everything!!! Lol
Great Instructions! So glad I found your channel.
Nice video and it turned out beautiful
