Loving your videos so far - Currently doing a Diamond Diploma and just finished my Diamond Grading & Identification course. Can't wait for you to upload more to help me with my coursework lol xx
I can't tell you how helpful this is, Stephanie! I'm working with a lovely jeweler in SF but I wish he would have educated me on the types of cushion cut and how much they vary ... as it has prolonged the process of finding the right cushion cut diamond for me. I discovered everything I know about them through research online after looking at several diamonds he presented me that I didn't love; I needed to educate myself to figure out why I wasn't happy with them. Seeing your video validated everything I have learned the past two weeks. Thank you!
What did you choose I just went through the same my ring should be ready any day but I'm wondering if I chose the right stone 😬
very helpful - and I used to work in jewelry, but a long time ago!
Cushion cuts are very beautiful if you're able to find one with hearts and arrows. They cost more than the common crushed ice look which I personally think is ugly however I know some people do like that cut. But if you can find one with hearts and arrows without the pillowy antique look then you got yourself a diamond that can rival a round diamond IMO
Just started watching your videos, must say thank you for the education
I am looking for 4 carat earrings, round shaped, (2carat each ear), could you please recommend what clarity or color, I know that since it isn't going to be a ring, it doesn't have to be as clear, but still want it to have some wow factor, It would be for my wife of 32 yrs. Hope you can help me, Thank you again,
Wow! You look really ‘trendy & cool’ at the start, with your sparkly belt and heels! Wish I was as cool as you! 😂🤣🤣
I don't know whether to laugh or mock this, were u being facetious 🤣
@@JMac-27 Yes. I was taking the piss.
@@JayKay-ht8rg I hate that I had to ask but I had to know 🤣 but you took the thought out of my head
@@JMac-27 😁👌🏼
Thanks for this
Beautiful
great vid
Very informative, simple and clear explanation. I digging the crushed ice look but I'm more wanting a moissanite for the refraction... idk the diamonds refraction HITS hard, but you can't savor the sparkle as much... hard one...
I have some rough diamonds uncut beautiful
The Antique Cushion Cut is very different from the Brilliant Cushion Cut. This is just wrong information. There are three basic cushion cuts, not two. They are Crushed Ice, Brilliant and Antique. The facet pattern is different on each, as is the facet size. The individual facets are smallest on the crushed ice cut, larger on the the brilliant cut and largest on the antique.
Hello, i like your video. Is very good cut enough for cushion or better excellent cut?
Cut should always be first priority, it changes everything
