Man, Frenchie is so funny. He might be my favorite. It’s really close though, this is a rare show where every actor fucking NAILS their part. There are no weak links in the main cast.
The Boys isn’t my favorite show of all time (it is up there) but it absolutely is my favorite show to watch other people watch.
If you crave this type of superhero content, I highly recommend you watch invincible after you finish this show

Alex, you would absolutely love the show "Supernatural". It was created by the same guy who brought "The Boys" to life. Eric Kripke. He even uses people from Supernatural on The Boys. The secretary of Defense, Robert Singer, is Bobby Singer on Supernatural. Jensen Ackles is in the 3rd season of this show but he was a lead in Supernatural. That show is dark, funny, and builds a giant world that went for 14 or 15 seasons. I think you should eventually dive into that.

This show reminds my more and more of an old superhero rpg "Guardians", in this game, when you make a character you have to bear in mind that all the power you give him or her you have to compensate with disadvantages. So normally, in that game, the more powerful your character, the more messed up s/he could be.

he is his canary, a reference to a canary in a coal mine. miner would take caged canaries down with them as an early warning system of danger, because there are gas pockets down there and they are odorless and colorless which could be lethal. if the canary dies, it means GTFO immediately because they mined too far and hit a gas pocket. so huey is butchers canary, a sign he went too far.
