mostly when it comes to a code it should tell you bank 1 or 2 and sensor 1 or 2, since it has one manifold and single exhaust it has only bank 1. so sensor 1 will be upstream adn sensor 2 will be downstream
if the translation is correct. your asking about the lower radiator hose. if thats the case i cant show you how since this car was totaled last year on black ice by the owner
Thanks for answering. I am the owner of a 2008 1.3 Civic Hybrid. I was wondering how to change the water hoses one way from the area where the thermostat is and the other goes through the lower part of the radiator, but I was wondering how to do it? It seems that I have to remove a lot of things. Your video on how to change the spark plugs helped me a lot, I already realized it and everything is ok, I just need to change the hoses. Do you have a video of it I speak Spanish but I translate what you write Thank you
@@antoniomedna1466 i wish i had more videos of that car. A week after i did all that work to it, the owner was driving north and hit black ice and the car was totalled beyond repair.

Hi I got 2009 Honda Civic hybrid and looks the same as this 2008, my question is: there is only two O2 sensors in this car? Upstream and Downstream? I have a code P0138 for a bad O2 sensor and is referring to bank 1 sensor 2, is this the downstream one? Thanks
What o2 sensor would need to be replaced i have a check engine light coming on for running too lean? Thanks for the video very helpful

Hi, which wrench size is applied to open the o2 sensor
standard o2 sensor socket, or 7/8th
thank for the video ,but I have question ? its necessary the small disc ,because some sensor not have it ,
the ones i saw for it had them, kinda a heat shield. May be fine without it just make sure nothing touches the exhaust
Thanks for the video! I drive the exact same car and am going to replace my O2 sensor this weekend. What size wrench did you used to take it out?
7/8. you can also use the o2 sensor socket. thanks for watching

car got the symptoms that you mentioned , I don't have a light on on the dash but when it get scans for smoke it says oxygen sensor not ready .
just because the light is not on dosnt mean the sensor or another is not going bad, just not enough to trip the light
Are these Honda model notorious to having bad catalytic converters ? Mine just failed a smog test for having a bad catalytic. Thanks!
That i couldnt tell you. this one i believed was going to need a converter but it got totaled before we had to go that far

Do you have any recommendations on where I can get an OEM o2 sensor for 2008 Honda civic hybrid??
Summit racing should have them its where i get 90% of all my parts
where did you purchase your 02 sensor?
I get the majorty of my parts all from summit racing. All my local shops either carry universal fit or they have to order it
What size wrench did you use?
22mm or 7/8
where did you get the sensor? Could you send me the link please? Thank you!
I believe the owner got the sensor at a local parts store. sorry i do not have a part number.
is it okay to put afternarket sensor? from a local auto parts
Does this also work on a 2006 civic hybrid
i am not sure honestly but i believe it should be the same
Hi witch one bank 01 sensor?? I have p0420 code

yes that is correct, bank is referred to as side, since it is a 4 cylinder there is only 1 bank. sensor 2 will be the downstream
Thank you. I did it as in the video. Very helpful. I bought it in Amazon. Denson 234-9063
