My kids used to attend an after school program (CDC) when we were stationed Heidelberg, Germany. I remember Khalid and some other boys putting on a talent show and singing some boy band songs for the staff and parents. He must have been in the 3rd or 4th grade at the time. His mom was also a very talented singer.
    Good memories.

Damn, Khalid is so talented. Great to see an artist on the radio with legit talent. Also, huge shout to his guitar player. He kept the guitar dynamic throughout which is huge since most of these tracks are the same 4 chords.

@@elizabethgrey4225 It took me awhile to warm up to his current music but I gave it another chance. His music is overproduced and saturated with beats for no reason. Khalid is a solid artist though.

I respect that and definitely see your point. In my opinion the production quality of his studio track is as good as it gets. I think all the added touches and electronics are brilliant. His voice definitely is the star of the show though.

Tom Misch, Grace VanderWaal, Daniel Caesar, Jorja Smith, GoldLink and Khalid in a space of a month or so. Tiny desk isnt playing at all. Giving us this much fire back to back should be a crime Goddamn. Only question is who is next?
