They are flawless, these wonderful people ❤️. Whenever I come to hear it, I focus a lot on them... You see and feel happiness in them and consequently end up smiling at them doing this and also at us, it's beautiful.
That's beacause a true artist shines best live. That's how you know who's talented and who is just smoke and mirrors & Daniel Ceasar, H.E.R, band & vocalist are on fire. Hands down one of my favorites. I got emotional when the vocalist get teary eyed at the end too that's how amazing they are
The fact that Daniel is standing towards the back to blend in with the band and singers says a lot . So that we focus on all of them at once .... I see what you did there 😉
The dynamic between Daniel and HER is refreshing. Haven't seen that type of chemistry on a track from two artist in awhile. Used to be a regularity in popular music
"Dad why is my sister's name Rose?" "Because your mother loves roses." "Good to know - thanks, Dad." "No problem Daniel Caesar: NPR Music Tiny Desk Concert"
Daniels chemistry with HER. HERS chemistry with the background singers. Daniel's chemistry with the Background singers. The drummers chemistry with the pianist. The Bass players chemistry with everyone. Everyone had chemistry.
I was just thinking the same. In addition to Daniel Caesar. Props to piano player, the drummer, the background singers and guitar player. And HER… all are outstanding.
True. At 50 I think I've heard everything but these young artists are staking their ground in in Soul today. HER and Daniel Caesar are right in the legacy of Marvin, Chaka, Teena, Omar, Van Hunt, etc.
Frank and Daniel are changing the game. No offense to R&B titans before (Chris Brown, Ne-Yo) but this new generation is wayyy better than 2000s R&B imo.
I don't care what they say rhythm and blues is in our DNA. It will be years from now and it will survive the test of time. R&B is what we are, the natural movement in our body and soul.
Darrel Be John Mayer would be great. But he has 100s of videos of him just playing little solo gigs like this. I want to see the chili peppers do an acoustic set like this.
The band seemed so happy they were literally smiling the whole time. Imagine getting to work with one of the most talented musician in the whole world and bathing in such beautiful music all the time...
That they were enjoying each other so much came through in the music and made this a special performance. I felt it every time they got so sweetly into the pocket that they had to smile at each other.
Seeing his background singers and the people around him physically respond when he amplifies his melodic tone says everything you need to know about his innate ability. Look at 1:12 the lady in green soul left her body.

That Best Part Performance Is an absolute masterpiece by the band, Daniel and H.E.R. UNREAL
These little performances are better than some award shows
Agree, I would say better than just about all award shows
Better than Most*** there I fixed it for you
Definitely! I love the chill vibes, too 😍
I'd have to say that the part from 0:00 to 16:33 is my favorite...

@@illianna.s5204 @Enodolomwanyi was trying to play with the words and use "best part" to refer to Daniel and H.E.R.'s song
12:52 the face you make when you know the gig you're playing in is being awesome.

Hearing that live was pure Heaven 😭
Such a beautiful voice! We don't deserve you!
Anyone give props to that Bass player on these tracks? She was playing exactly the right notes, at exactly the right time, with exactly the right runs. Pure gold. Pino Palladino would have been proud lady. Bless
bad songs hehe
@@jesminkhatun8816 well that’s her job
Fr I listen to this everyday before work
You don't, we do!!
I would love to see a DJ Khalid tiny desk concert where he plays his greatest hits and just sits there and shouts his ad-libs.
This killed me. LOOOOOL
*ANOTHER ONE*
🤣🤣🤣
“Dj Khalid! Anotha one!” Lmfao
Negative.. Khalid is Babbage!! This is REAL MUSIC, sung & soulful... Not that "we da best" crap. ✊✊✌✌✌
Loving the dynamic between the drummer and the pianist. Band goals.
This is a jazz vibe I can’t let go of.

You can't hear it most off the time tho and it was quite simple basslines
I was looking for this comment :)
pretty neat acoustic typed bass she plays, very very clean and exact
yeah that’s kind of the point
I saw Daniel Caesar under a muddy ass tent at bonnaroo and it was will easily my favorite show. He signed merch on stage and performed with an authenticity I haven't seen in a long time. I cried. Please don't ever change, Mr. Caesar. 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾
i cried firs. There, I said it.
Saw him at Boston Calling and I was moved to tears as well! Us Sullivans get it :)
The ways he sings that part 15:12 😩
Then somebody says “ooo”
Then he smile cause he know he killed that shit 👏🏾😩
Exatamente!!!
