Great video as always! A disaster struck for me today! I was servicing a Worcester Danesmoor 32/50 (non condesing unit), The previous service company had over-tightened the baffle door! So much so, the door was buckled! Upon slacking off the nuts , two of the welded rods snapped off! To remedy, the boiler was drained down, 2x replacement rods were welded in, and the door was replaced with a second-hand one, I recovered years ago! Talk about having the day totally ruined! Best wishes from Arbroath!
Hi Rob Found you vlog channel last week Great to watch I have been in HVAC for over 35 years It’s great to see someone who knows their stuff Keep up the good work. Gary
Hi. Thanks for the comment. We have been asked this by somebody else also. They are not common around here. As soon as i see one i will do a video on it and stick it on for you. Have a good weekend.
Great video as always Roberto. Do you have to use the clear hoses on the wallstars or is that just to give you a visual on the oil flow? I had to change one recently on a service and realised I didn’t have a clear one on the van. Had to do a one hour round trip to get one just in case, but could I have got away with a normal hose? Keep up the good work mate!
Hi. You can use a normal hose but the clear hose on a Wallsatar for fault finding tells a thousand tails!! At the end of the day a good safe hose is better than a clear broken one! Have a good weekend mate. Rob
@@BartonOilBurnerServices cheers Rob! Thanks again for the great videos, they have been invaluable for me learning the trade as still quite new to it all, so thanks again. Could you possibly do something on electrics / fault finding etc if you get chance? Eg. Testing the 50v thing on the white wire to the motor etc etc? I’ve never really understood stuff like that! Cheers mate all the best.
Hi Rob, great vlog as usual mate! Any chance of covering the Atkinson Tankmaster valve for oil tanks? I’ve always struggled with those things….. Cheers 😁👍
Totally agree. All Elcos and Rdb especially low nox should be set exact as should the new Wallstars and all condensing boilers. This wallstar is a non condensing boiler and is designed to run between 10.5 -11.0 hence i set it where i did. You have to set it up at full operating temp if you set it up to cold then as it warms up the co2 will. increase and it may smoke. The book will give you a expected temp but it is a guide as for the co2 do what they say. Experience tells me it will purr for a year. Thanks for the comment as always. Have a good weekend and dont work to hard. Rob
You are correct. Thats why i turn the oil off to stop it running back. (hopefully). Have a great weekend. PS If it helps i dont vent them by bleeding i overide the photocell. Rob
@@Paxton44 I will explin off you tube mate as i dont want people to do this unless they know there stuff. Feel free to direct message us your number ( private through instagram) and i can call you monday. Rob

Hi there, thanks for the comment. We have a video called 'Overview of filters/tankmaster units' which will hopefully help (published 15/03/24) 😊 Karen
I always set up via the book from the temp/co2 chart. Elcos i find are very temperamental to air temp changes over the months

I find sometimes that post-service HRM’s can be a struggle to get the oil back back up to the pump … particularly if they’re higher up the wall …
