To me that defeats the object of a All In One paint.
Also the data sheet and back of the can doesn't say to do that, so how would people know?
Nice test cheers
Chances of ppl scratching a surface like that bare slim .. but it's good to see how it hold up to it.
Interesting to watch, but in all honesty I don’t think I’d trust any if them long term on exterior upvc.
Wonder how they would stand up to plastic expanding in heat then contracting when cooling down also uv. Personally I’d probably always go for something thats isocyanate based like selemix direct or lechler plasgrip .
Always enjoy the vids mate .
Hi. Have you seen the uPVC door spraying vid? If you take the panels out and paint them separately, if you get any movement between different plastic compositions you shouldn't see it.
I did a quick tidy up on an old uPVC door on a rental years ago... Clean down.. otex akva followed by f&b exterior UC, then two coats F&B exterior eggshell. Other than the panel moving as I didn't bother taking it out.. it still looks good today!!
Allcoat is awful - I painted a front door with it and one year later the customer complained a load of it had flaked off. I won’t use the stuff now and stick with oil bases for exterior wood.
thoughts on the other two paint now you've seen the video?
bedec has much better adhesion i noticed on the side of the tins the allcoat came off without much effort the bedec could barely get it off and its around the same price
Allcoat is still very good, I used it last week on some metal gates, dust off and coat up, looked awesome. The satin has a lovely finish.
@@ProfessionalPainterDecorator yeah its not bad for small jobs and ok if just freshening up same colour then it will go for 2 coats but for a colour change or going over oil probs be 4-5 coats i tried it on a whole 2 bed going over stain to white including doors cills windows etc took 4 coats after 2 rooms got fed up and went back to oil undercoat oil gloss would have to took forever otherwise and cost a fortune.
This is definitely not an opacity test/video.
Yeah we know. We've got different colours.
What we are testing is how it sticks..and that's nothing to do with what colour is used lol
Dedec dogs balls love the vids mate keep it up Kev the painter
Oh it is, do you like the Barn Paint too? Have to say the Frenchic is up there too.
