Type 3 ENTJ here, thanks for the video!
You and I are the same
I know 2 Ni dominant Enneagram types (1 INFJ, 1 INTJ) and one problem that I have observed is that they’re so busy in interactions with others using their Se to pick up signals of whether the person they are with likes and approves of them or not-while simultaneously trying to tweak their presentation to improve on that-that they genuinely don’t pick up any real information about who that person is and what’s important to them. Thus they often rely on projections, in which the degree to which the projections are negative or positive depends on whether they perceived that the other person liked them and were successful or not.
Unfortunately the Tony Robbins reference didn’t age well, given that he is currently embroiled in a sexual misconduct scandal.
ENFJ type 3w4 here. I want to be the greatest at what I love to do and be recognized/praised for it.

Ey, Trey the ENTJ! I'm an ENFP, and a Type 3 with a neutral wing. Very insightful videos. As a type three i agree with a lot of your points. I however was able to find that balance. I have a strong inner code, and my opinion of success is just to accomplish all of my OWN PERSONAL goals. I had to emphasize because it's easy for threes to lose sight of what they value, as already stated. Oddly most ENFPs are 7,4, and,2. I noticed you do alot of social experimenting. So do i. We should share data some time.

@@truthseeker4076 3w4 aren't loud social people. That would be 3w2. Even then other types would be much louder like 7, 2 and 8w7 especially. 3 is more task oriented than anything else.
Your status as INFJ 3w4, on the other hand, is pretty suspicious. Not saying it's impossible, but pretty unlikely.

Is it common for the type 3 to be so focused on the image of success rather than the success itself? I'm a type 3 ENTP and believe I want to be successful for myself rather than my image. However, I didn't have the type of experience you had mentioned is common for type 3 growing up. Maybe that's a big variable?
that would be a healhy type 3 (i'm also entp ; type 3w2) i think being focues on the image instead of being really succesfull is one of the traps of type 3. Healthy type 3 knows himself better and knows what he wants to present (Arnold Schwarzenegger: "trust yourself" "gotta look deep down and ask yourself: who do you want to be")
You are probably SP variant. Type 3 that wants image of success rather than success itself is SO variant. As for SX 3 is more about masculinity and femininity, being the embodiment of most attractive quality for men or women. Nothing unhealthy about it as long as no one is harmed.

Hey! Damon here, yeah. I personally like the other format better, hence why I enjoy doing live-streams more. However, we are targeting a different market for our professional work, hence why we're doing these (with a little splash of live-streams to keep it fun). I also told our editor (yesterday) to keep our personalities in the videos. The stuffiness of these videos drives me nuts. Haha. So it's work in progress. And thank you for that feedback.

3w2 ESFP!
Im entp type 3 and its fucking hard to find that final identity. I always try to improve at many areas because of Ne and double it with procrastination I end up doing nothing and changing hobbies. Its like you always have a doubt about things you do cause you feel someone will dislike you. Any advice on beign 17 year old entp type 3?
