Hey B. David here. Awesome video. I see the upgrades are working really good. I'm happy for you. It's good that somebody here in Europe is showing to everybody that the Disco td5 is a very capable stock truck and a lot better with some clever and well done upgrades and, of course, good driving skills like yours. Try to find as soon as possible a CDL(being the disco 1 or ashcroft or whatever). You'll make it unstopable(but still confortable, haha). Good for you mate. Well done. +DSM NAMS I'm sorry mate. I hadn't check my e mail, nor this video comments for a while. About the upgrades, you can see the videos before this one. B explains the upgrades. For me they would be bigger tires(one or two steps bigger than stock), around 5cm lifting suspension kit(longer shock absorver and base for stock springs or longer springs). Probably a bit harder shock absorvers). 30 mm rings for the rims(so 60 mm wider). Snorkel, mid exhaust out, EGR out, remap, bottom protection....and of course the cdl combined with traction control or not depending on the situation. Just an opinion. Cheers

Vraiment top, malheureusement j’ai dû trop forcer sur le mode 4x4 j’ai mes 3 voyants abs TC et aide à la descente qui sont oranges. Toujours cool tes vidéos, salut de Nouvelle-Calédonie !
the only advice I can give (coming from Land Rover Tech) HDC should be on when pointing downhill at an angle > 30 degrees. 1 or 2 gear preferred. and when going down hill braking is not recommended, let the engine braking do the work. still amazing how a non CDL disco can do, recommend a diff from D1 tho.

Salut les gars, Tres bonnes videos. J'aurais besoin d'un avis, dites moi ce qui est le plus agile entre un Discovery 2 et un Range Rover 2. Je prevois de m'acheter le Disco et je prefererais le TD5 car moins gourmant mais j'aimerais savoir si vous avez teste le TD5 et le V8 et si le TD5 a suffisement de couple. Je souhaiterais en faire comme vous dans les bois pour commencer et puis me rendre au Maroc pour tater le sable. J'attends vos avis Merci
+GQ MAGAZINE Disco 2 et Ranger 2 c'est le même chassis. Sur le disco, le TD5 est très mou d'origine mais pour s'amuser en TT c'est souvent suffisant et couple correct. Conso env 11L. Dans les dunes ça passe tranquille en jouant sur les pressions, mais il faudra souvent être pied au plancher... Le V8 est plus puissant mais consomme plus : 15L en étant gentil, mais c'est dur de se ré freiner... Les 2 OK pour le désert, mais petite préférence pour le TD5 infatiguable. Ps: moins de pb électroniques sur le disco

Tu as un capteur d'ABS qui a lâché. Il faut que tu passes ton disco au nanocom et il te dira quel capteur est défectueux 😉
