    I have one of these boards, my buddy found it in the woods years ago and it has by far the most fun and comfortable board I have ever ridden! I would recommend it to anyone who wants to rip up the town.

    I just got a dervish sama because it was really really cheap but I would go for the tan tien. Thank you, I came here because I felt it was very unstable but as you said I just gonna get it tighter

    Hey there, thanks for your review. Do you know how the Icarus compares to the Tan Tien and the Dervish Sama? Thanks so much!

    If i already have a dinghy cruiser should i still buy a longboard/penny board for other situations or just to collect?

      A longboard can be good for other situations, such as longer distance traveling. They’re more comfortable with that. If you like tricks and stuff then you can learn a bunch of unique longboard tricks too. It’s up to you! I personally love my longboard!

    sick vid man, i've debating getting the dervish or the tan tien and I think I'm gonna go with the dervish. i do tricks and cruising mostly but my current board is 44 inches so I think I would be more comfortable with the dervish. my current board is also like super stiff and we're about the same weight so I'm not sure what to get for flex. deck only flex 3 is only like 90 bucks on their website rn tho so I might just end up going with that

      flex 3 is probably way to flexy tbh. I would rather it be a little less flexy honestly. Also if you like going very speedy fast, then the Tan Tien would be a better option. I use my tan tien the most!

    I'm a 40 year old 185 pound dude looking to pick up a new hobby. I'm an intermediate snowboarder, but never stepped foot on a skateboard. Longboards sound like the place to start with the snowboard experience. Searching around I found the Loaded Dervish. I enjoyed your review, so I thought I'd drop a comment and ask for recommendations.

      Hey! So I think the dervish would definitely be a fun board to pick up! But make sure you get the right level of flex. It’s very flexy! But honestly, I kind of want to tell you to check out the icarus, or possibly the tan tien. They will be a little faster while still being very stable, and I think coming from snowboarding you may want that? Any of those boards will surely be great for you though, so pick one and go for it!!!

    Awesome video I weigh 145lbs can I get away with flex 3?

    • @OgdenSikel
      @OgdenSikel  4 роки тому +1

      What’s up dude! I weight about 138lbs and the flex 3 is VERY flexy. I’d recommend flex 2 for best flex, otherwise you may be riding with it bent very close to the ground

      i weigh 160 and got a flex 3 its perfect for me because most i do is pump and carve and cruising/commuting. if u want to get this board for dancing and tricks get a flex 2 if youre unsure some skateshops let you test a few boards before buying them
