Great video Jeremy! The Acid Rain Maestro is possibly the most fun module I own, and easily has the most satisfying buttons to press of any module I've tried. Can't wait to try this.
Love that they kept that same familiar workflow from the maestro. This is an excellent demo. You always keep it bouncing in your videos and I’m here for it !
That "carving out" of the last beat was a real wow moment for me. Awesome video Should have known these guys were gonna come out with a gate sequencer. Love my Maestro and really feels like a natural next step from that. Also should have known they would do it in a much more creative and interesting way than I could have imagined.
Instant buy when it's available! Was working on something similar myself, but realised I don't have enough time to go the whole way. This will do now. Even if it's not exactly what I was trying to do, but close enough to get lost in it. :-)
Seems like one of those times where you *could* create this from like half a dozen simpler modules all patched together, but having it sewn up into one product makes the whole thing a lot more pleasant to use. I love the way the screen is nestled into the interface!
I was giving on the intro beat, the snare hits sounded like bel biv devoe’s poison and loved the way it ended up at some glitchy 90’s IDM. Looks like a great tool.
dooood. This looks like the one.. I've been hacking something similar with steppy / circles but this looks so much more immediate and playable. Also, just took my bitbox micro off of reverb after watching this. Great sample idea. Thanks for the vid jeremy!
This thing is really nicely thought out, isn't it? Amazing! Somehow I had missed the release, but Podular Modcast's interview sent me here. Thanks for the video.
I think you just showed me the solution to my current modular problem. I've been trying to imagine how to build this from discrete modules. Now I don't have to. Thanks.
I was highly intrigued when I heard about Constallation but... stacking euclidean patterns! 🤯 This will work super nice with Maestro's inputs. Instant buy.
"oh, ok cool" "8 patterns per sequencer channel, pretty neat" "They play at the same time!?" Sold! Send me one and a maestro please! Holy shit these are such smart, and fun tools! Great ideas from acid rain!
Having only limited space (and money) I’ll stay with my Clank Chaos for now to make interesting patterns. But in case I ever expand into a drum system, this is high HIGH up there with modules that I’d consider for it. The Maestro was already great and this looks cool as heck as-well. Plus Acid Rain modules just look so darn good! Was exited to see a video on this module and you did a fantastic job as usual :)
It look cool but I wonder if it would be good to modulate a Basimilus Iteritas Alter. I dont think so, maybe a voltage block would be better for that purpose.
Sorry-not to be a stickler but it’s note pronounced “Clave” like “wave” it “Clave” like “Clah-vey”. Great vid, , I’m still a bit confused haha, this is a weird one to explain. Acid Rain make genius mods-my Maestro never leaves my rack, brilliant.
Looks like an amazingly powerful gate/trigger sequencer but perhaps a little hard to keep track of what you have done with very little visual feedback as to the current state of things.
maybe that's where the presets save the day... using one's ear to twiddle bits to taste, & then save as a preset... BOOM!! in that case, who needs more feedback than the overlapping patterns themselves? ;-)
It wasn't clear to me whether logic can be assign per pattern or if it's set per channel. For example is it possible to do ((p1 OR p2) AND p3) or do they all have to use the same operation?
Wow, such a powerful sequencer, and a super clear demo. Does dialing in a change always happen in real time, or is it possible to dial in a change and then activate it? Does Live mode help with that in any way?
Yoooooo.... Amigo... At the begining of this video i thougt.. Hmm euclidean, boring man... But i know the maestro and this is a powerful modulation source.. So i was waiting for the WOOOOOW SHIIIT I NEED IT moment... And it happend after few minutes! My question is, for minimal house, which is very percussion based sound, would you recomend it for a drum rig? I think it is worth to create somethin complete new.. Let me know what you think of this module for funky, groovy 4 to the floor music. Thx for the video amigo
The more I learn about modular, the less I know what it is at all. But the mystery is slowly and unfortunately slipping from ‘that’s nice but fuck this’ to ‘what if I explerimented with a mystery’
Interesting module- but a lot of button pressing, and a lot of hp to fit all the buttons in. I think I’ll stick with Pam’s and Steppy, but thanks for the demo!
This is like all those mylar melodies techno system setups all rolled into one module!

Got my Constellation yesterday, what an amazing device. Thanks for this video ahead of time, it sold me within like 3 minutes :)
Mine just arrived from patchwerks. Thanks Seattle!

I should have never watched this because now I want one! Great explanation/examples of how this module works.

I thought that was a cup holder on the left on the thumbnail. I was immediately sold. 🤣💸
I started to think of pattern layering as making a "beat lasagne" and that helped me quite a lot
Thanks for wishing me a Gloriously Awesome Day! Same To You RMR!!!

You too, those days are rare indeed. Thanks for the vid, looks like a great module I just might pick up.
Huge vibe. You’ve gassed me up good.
Interesting, cool to see some unique stuff like this/new workflows. Also the cable management 👌

One of these paired with an Assimil8or would be ridiculously fun and powerful.

Such a great demo.👍
EU gotta be CLIDing me
I have no idea about modular but I like the noise
how that was a very good video. holy shit. i did not expect to see such a good video :D
Mmm that patch at the end.
Does it have an internal clock or is it necessary to have something like Pal workout ?
I know this wasn't the main feature of the video, but a little Rample pack would be cool ;)

Yeah but…… what about the thing in the middle?
Hahaha.
Looks like a cool module. If it’s half as good as maestro it’ll be a winner
21:30 MAN YOU GOTTA RELEASE THAT AS A 12 MINUTES EP 🔥🔥🔥🚒🚒🚒
have you continued to use this after your review video?
Acid Rain 🙌
You have a store that has synths in it!? Dude I want to live there…

Agree on all counts

Incredible.

It activates when you let go of the button so kinda
What kind of store is it again?
Everything Acid Rain makes is solid gold. Is there a similar Max4Live Euclean tool I can play around with in the meantime?
Yeaaaaah, that's kinda insta buy. Damn it. Been looking at Tempi + few gate seq's but this is cool little accident box.
8:17 Mr. Oizo wants his beats back lol
Can it swing on a per channel basis? I assume being able to nudge events off the grid is probably not possible either?
Some similar functions to the trigger riot but more sophisticated
Which module is quantizing the synthsounds?
I can’t believe Jeremy called me a nerd 😤
my brother in christ, you watch the modular synth videos

Absolutely it's great for that
wait, what is this thing in the middle with the blinking lights on it??? 😜
it really is all about the Blinky lights. Oh wait, right.... contstellation.
What cases are those? Cute little things!
It’s a 4ms skiff I think. Neat little things, but they do some really small ones. 20hp?!?
@@walrtbstudios5430 Thanks!

Kind of difficult to follow. That, and it feels like i'm being talked to as if i'm a toddler. Mildly frustrating! Yeah, really really cool stuff.
