Red Means I'll be so broke next month once I buy the Tempera :) Whatever they are paying you for demos Jeremy, its probably not enough. The way you are always able to take a synth/machine and get the most out of the devices is simply awe-inspiring. Thanks for these videos ♥
Really cool update and demo! I also can't help but dream of further extensions of the Tempera that could allow for it to be used even more as a general Kaospad-like multi-FX processor for external signals. The controls layout, available I/O, flexible UI, and giant XY touch surface are exactly what would be needed for a performance multi-fx monster that rivals anything else out there. They have designed a killer bit of hardware that could be used in a lot of different ways beyond the wonderful world of granular goodness.
You do such an amazing job with these videos, Jeremy. I *have* a Tempera, and you make me want to get a Tempera. I sure hope that they're paying you what you deserve.
Great vid. I think Tempera MKII needs to have one single large display that spans the unit. It’s clear that is needed when you started trimming the sample. 🎉
before i get to understand what is a tempura i thought it was just a DJ thing but now after i get to know what is a tempura i was flabbergasted of how powerful and still a DJ tool it is
To be fair, granular is one of those things that can be interpreted in so many different ways. So getting multiple hardware granular things actually kind of make sense
Dad joke in 3... 2... 1... I guess anyone crazy for this thing is considered Tempera mental. Eh...? Eh...? I'll see myself out. Dear god I love this thing.
One question: with v2.1, how does it overlap with something like, for instance, a soma cosmos? The looping and granular output remiinds me a bit of it. I have to say that your reviews are truly outstanding. There's a lot of effort and dedication behind them, it shows. Fantastic, really! Thanks!
Oh, yeah. The Tempera. So tempting! But everytime I try to get into some type of granular processing, it sounds horrible. I need to practice more to learn how to squeeze these beautiful sounds you do.
MX ergo all the way, no more throwing arms around on my table or struggling to find arm movement space on a crowded table.. hurray for stationary mice.
i need to put time into that device... bought one, couldn't wrap my head around it.. maybe just didn't care to learn another machine.. dunno.. seems fun but mine is just a paper weight. :( 2025 year of selling tons of shit that makes me feel worthless. :/
I never will understand what the appeal of using hardware like this is. It’s so much work for such a small achievement of mediocre at best sound design. Hardware dudes have a “noise happening all time” problem too. In music the notes and spaces not played are just as important as the ones you do play, maybe even more important. I’ve owned a few hardware pieces here and there and the microkorg was the only one that impressed me. It made some nice fm synth basses and the vocoder was excellent, still though it wasn’t super easy to use compared to software
Love my tempera and vector by beetlecrab audio! Great company!
I will never not call this thing the Tempura.
So crunchy
There’s an elusive piece of broccoli in there
I am also getting hungry for Japanese fried shrimps
Yummm

You are always so thoughtful, inspiring and virtuousitic (if that's a word). And your sponsors get such incredible value from your involvement!

I have been looking at the Tempura for a while. This is a game changer, now what to do about my resolution to not but any new gear in 2025....

Thanks J!! Always love your tutorials. Sweet tunes too man. Beautifully done. I’m excited to try some of these techniques.
I have granular pedals, granular eurorack modules, and granular plugins, but I still want this. Why are we like this...
@middaymeds In my head right now there are two sides :
- Sell the Arbhar and buy the freaking thing
- STFU you have enough, learn the Arbhar
I do too and this is one of the only ones I have sold. This video might add more value, but I was not impressed when I had it.

I have the Tempera. It is an amazing and unique piece of hardware.

Stop making me want Tempera and fake plants.
You probably should start by buying the fake plants and let yourself some time to think about the Tempera. 😂
@ idk the real plants might get jealous if i go all in like that
@err_rawr You know what ? You're right. Buy the Tempera and see how the plants feel about it, then, maybe, move on to the fake plants. Maybe.
I need one of these!
Hey J, logo looks good!
beautiful looking (and sounding) guitar. you are the deluge whisperer.
Love you, you always inspire, and you are a delight to boot.

Dear god I love this thing.

That's a super cool case for your NTS-2!
Jeremy vid idea, was watching the ROMpler pads vid and thought what about a tutorial for pad patch from scratch on 90s rompers.
That’s a great idea
God that piano section was beautiful
I think you can disable the NTS-2 sleep mode
I like your enclosure for the NST-2. Where did you get it?
That outro jam was DAMN beautiful!❤

I actually don't understand why everyone doesn't have a Logitech Vertical MX. I could never go back.

1:10 You're not wrong. The frame do be balanced.
Top! thx

I really hope they make an iPad app out of it❤
And sell it for $19.99
They are not going to make an ipad app... out of the tempera.
@@Milkman76than someone else will do it 😅
@@phelper4554 enshittification happens, yes, but we dont have to buy what comes out of it. Its a choice, friend.
