actually not everything the windows or browser tells u is a virus turns out to be a virus
they just designed to get potential threats
and in this case i think manufacturer didn't update their security details for software hence ur pc thinks its a virus
i install old stuff a lot and its fairly common for old softwares
The website he showed was VirusTotal which give a verdict of all major (and a bunch of minor) AV and malware detection vendors. Didn’t give a good verdict!

Have the same pad man; it's fine. Software isn't a virus, it's just not signed is all cause it was homegrown in china somewhere and they didn't pay to have it signed.
The site he showed was VirusTotal. It doesn’t just pay attention to the signing, it hashes the software to check it against known threats and types using dozens of scanning suites.

@@ShiftyKeysbtw you should make a video about autohotkey, it can do any task, more stuff than these softwares can do and it can remap any button or do anything with any button and it’s easy scripting, universal, and is a shortcut so you can disable or enable it whenever.
Name anything any autohotkey can make that a click of a button, btw it works with every type of button so extra buttons like MB, XButtons, or even custom built ones

It's probably just because it can control your PC. It still could be a virus but I don't think so. It's like downloading a cheat engine
It might be a false positive but Microsoft defender classed it a “serious” and lots of other security venders on virus total also said it was malicious so I thought it was best to remove it.

What about AutoHotKey? presumably this keyboard sends Virtual ScanCodes which your own script could execute. The good thing about using AHK or AutoIT is the button can be contextual so when Photoshop is open it cuts and pastes, when UA-cam is open it changes the playlist.

Meaning it’s safe just don’t make a script that makes a key that shuts down your computer or deletes system32… like right now I have two extra keys on an onn Walmart mouse that you can’t remap and I remapped it and it opens Snapchat and an autoclicker that’s undetectable

Sadly not as far as I'm aware, the instructions say you need the software and without the software all buttons are the letter "C", luckily it has built in memory so it saved my saves.

I have that exact one in black. Theres a video on here that led me to software with no virus. It works my cameras on obs flawlessly. They're just easily programmed backwards. You'll see

i was about to buy that then this video and a amazon reveiw made me bite my wallet a little but save my pc i decided to buy the megladon 3 nob thing instead

Its not a malware unless its described as malware, virustotal have a lot of false positives, markings of potentially unwanted software(or PUP/PUA respectively) as virus. So dont judge too fast

Its not i virus. Most of the time the driver are not licensed bei Microsoft and winstupid claimed there is a virus. So be cool.

Its dodgy chinese software, the achilles heel of chinese hardware. I swear for every great hardware engineer they have 10 totally incompetent software engineers. Either it is horribly and amateurisly put together or they just they just straight up put malicious code in there.
