Multipurpose Backpack Straps

My backpacking experience has shown me that having a day pack on a trip is useful. While I can bring a separate one I like the opportunity that a detachable brain can provide to create a day pack, I have yet to find a pack that seems to do it efficiently and well. Also, I am not a huge fan of built in straps as a way to attach items to the outside of a backpack. If they are going to be included I think it is essential that they are designed in such a way that to promote a large number of interconnects so they can be used to attach objects in not just their primarily designed way.
It is a lot of videos about backpacks in a row. My original plan was that all of three of these were going to be a single video, but part way though filming the first one I realized that if all this information was in a single one it would be a much longer video than I think is good. Also in the midst of filming that I realized that I did not yet have coherent thoughts on the topics I covered in this video, and as such needed more time to think about them and come up with a better outline than a bullet point of ‘straps’.
