Thanks, it's a fun experiment. It seems to be working fairly well too. I think a lot of my subscribers don't really play Hearthstone as much anymore, and want to hearken back to the old days, but I also want to play the new stuff, not revisit the old stuff. So I've been looking for decks and storylines that kinda bridge the two together and use the intro to make that connection between old and new. "Here is this thing you used to love, and here's how it has changed today."
@@RegisKillbin totally hit the nail on the head, I haven't played hearthstone in years but I still enjoy watching HS content and bridging these fancy new decks back to decks I have some familiarity with helps me to appreciate the gameplay in a way I wouldn't if I watched the gameplay totally blind
I’ve been playing something similar with the 1 mana forge card to draw drum circles with both choose options combined. Solar eclipse can also land on the drum circle to go absolutely bonkers! The deck has a later curve so this Regis one is better for early game tempo but drum circle is fun for sure :-)
You're the reason I played the token druid 2 expansions ago and got Legend for the first time (3 in a row). I liked that I could spam so many games in a short time. Even though I like fun decks, I can never play more than 2 or 3 games before I get tired of hearthstone
A friend of mine who is an old hearthstone player asked me if the game is fun now. At first, the images of all the titans came to my mind, then I remember that things like this exist. Imagine having so many new and fun stuff to explore but you never get to see them because decks like this exist. I see this deck everywhere in gold and 8/10 times you will be sweating to keep up, it's not even worth the stress.
Unlike other decks, this one works without epics or legendaries. Its not the players' fault that most interesting decks need at least 3 legendaries to function
@@Dalinzir there always have been good decks on a budget. Just not THIS stupid. Also, there are free legendaries now that are bonkers and this deck doesn't even use any because it's THAT broken.
one of my favoritedecks for a token trent deck was during rise of dragons with twinspell trent spell that alowed you to re lode the board 6/7 times in a game and it was very fun but i do like the aggression moddern deck list have but i do miss the late game peek on the older deck lists
I did a bunch of druids today. Its just been plague DK or Token Druid. I also ended up with 3 aman'thuls because of creation, which was hilarious and then scrolls casted something to reduce the cost and buff its health, one of them cost 3 lol
@@DeSoLaToR22 I'm a Big Druid enjoyer, Was playing all version of Druid ( Mill, double combo at the beginning after Naxxramas Extension xD ) Big / Taunt etc... Its the start of the DLC, i count of Builder to find deck better :)
Crafted this deck and it's incredibly frustrating; so many random anti-synergies. The forest saplings spell is somehow not a nature spell (it just doesn't have a school?) so it doesn't activate Herald of Nature, and all of the 1/1 saplings and 5/5 ancients summoned interact with cultivation, cultivation really only activates off of blood treants, witchwood apple, soul of the forest, and natural causes. Definitely think the deck can be made significantly better.
there is a magic saying called RDW = Red Deck Wins: meaning it wins buy playing fast cheap minions "Aggro" in its purest form usually minion go face quick who cares if your opponent has good 6 mana cards if they never make it to turn 6 style of play and thats druid sometimes..... i enjoy the big druid shenanigans like the 150 otk with bran sire astalor combo that happened not that long ago... to each their own
Oh yeah, like what? I would personally say Slitherscale is the best 1-drop this deck has ever had, maybe Gibberling was better, but I kinda think that was really just Lightning Bloom being insane.
I mean this deck isn’t that much faster then the choose one drum circle flavor of Druid and that deck also gets full taunt boards (can effectively use cultivation if you want cause drum circle discounts it by 5) and can get two Reno effects
Decks like this aren't healthy for the game. They're very boring and basic but have absurd win rates. Not only that but they don't showcase any of the really cool cards that the creators worked so hard on. It's just a bunch of bored buffs on small minions that barely even have animations. I love hearthstone, but when decks like this exist it really does ruin that fun If these decks end up being the best.
This title is such clickbait. It’s not even the best deck in the game right now. Not to mention it is currently day 2 of the expansion and aggro decks always perform well when the decks are unrefined
I don't comment much, but I wanted to say I've been enjoying the new way you have been doing your intros lately. Keep up the good work!

@@RegisKillbinbeautifully said and beautifully done
Agreed, it makes each video feel very unique. Like there’s a backstory behind the decks. Very novel for the early meta.
Good to see you "branching" out with new decks Regis
Honestly just going back to my roots.
@@RegisKillbin The dad jokes flow stronger through you now! :D
@@RegisKillbin I don't know...this deck seems to be all bark, no bite

Thank you Regis for this budget decklist and showcase, just getting back into things and this will be a great starting point 😊

I hate aggro and token stuff but the budget aspect is super important
Druid is broken more often than McDonalds ice cream machine

It's okay to play decks like these when you dont have more than 3 braincells :) glad to know that even people with problems can enjoy the game
Its not often I find myself rooting for regis's opponents. Brutal deck
The "Yep ok" sums this up haha
These intros are top notch. Great work.
Not a druid fan, but I've always loved the treant theme. Still hoping for them to make treant an actual tribe and chuck all trees there

The best thing about this deck, it's DIRT CHEAP
As someone who just got back into hearthstone today, Token Druid has always been a bane of my existence
I’ve been gone since like 2018 to 2019
nice a budget deck, thanks regis

Druid Enjoyers right here, i'm playing only Druid on HS, and its funny to see the same archetype came back and back everytime xD
i also like to play druid but I find it irritating that this token druid is the best druid out there. i hoped for a different style

All games won on turn 6 except the last one with horrible draws.. still very impressive deck!
I managed to win by turn 4 or 5 a couple times also depends on the opponents deck. Worst matchups are mech rogue and control priest.
I’ve had some luck with relic demon hunter into this, wide spells and life steal help out last the deck and fel spells help with thicker targets
I love token druid in Wild the mana cheat is so good
i think this deck is missing all the good 1 mana cards that made it such a menace in the past

Regis any restaurant recommendations in STL?
Nice content as always Regis! Would you reckon a Topior + Denathrius addition would be too slow for this deck?
Probably too slow- you want to be killing them by turn 7!
It would be too slow
returning player here so yeah, definitely making this deck for some ez gains lol
yep can confirm this deck is kicking some ass right now, Gold 3
Dew process is good if you are missing some of the cards
Anyone else instinctively go to scroll down when the videos were scrolling by? 🤣
Next up on cards that murdered other cards: Minotauren > Shieldmaiden
Missed out on Titans cause I got unlucky and both my pity legendaries were from the standard packs so need a cheap alternative, thanks.
So, @25:10 what you're trying to say is the card isn't too slow. The rest of the meta is too fast ;)
Everytime i see new deck i only think or one thing. Can i summon my large yellow man against this?
Priest jade is more fun 😶🌫️
I haven’t played hearthstone in almost two years but Druid always just seems to break the game huh
I mean this deck isn’t that much faster then the choose one drum circle flavor of Druid and that deck also gets full taunt boards (can effectively use cultivation if you want cause drum circle discounts it by 5) and can get two Reno effects
Someone at Blizzard is getting fired for this, and not because the deck is broken
Saw this deck in vicious syndicate's decks to try on day 1 article. The one who popular this may have taken it from there 🤔
James Bronha
15:08 why didn't cultivation get reduced here? Is it a bug or do saplings not count as treants?
Saplings aren't treants. Only treants are treants.
Saplings are definitely not treants you can tell because it says “saplings” and not “treants”
I always surrender against druids before mulligan, Lmao
I just cant stand them
"One mana spell too slow" 😂 lmao that's hearthstone nowadays
took me to gold 5 but afterwards i lost 6 times in a row
now I am playing constructive choose one and got diamond 5.

It’s definitely not as good as drum circle choose one but it’s also 6000 dust cheaper then that so Ofcourse it isn’t
