*CORRECTION - I mentioned three USB C ports in a hurry when the correct number should have been TWO.
I think CHAEPEST (from your video clip title) is only have TWO USB-C port (M3). But on a MacBook Pro in your video clip there are THREE USB-C port (M3 Pro), so It isn't CHEAPEST?
Can you give me a laptop as a gift? I really need a laptop 🥺. I am not able to afford it.
I have a 12" MacBook from early 2016 and I plan to upgrade to the M3 with 16gb of ram but keeping it at 512 ssd. I only use my laptop for casual internet browsing, work, multiple apps open here and there and rarely any games. As I have my own gaming PC for that.
Regarding storage. I've only ever used around 30% of it over the years. I see no need to increase it, since if I ever happen to run low, I can just purchase a cheap hard drive.
Although originally when these laptops were announced, I considered going for the 14" with M3 Pro but scrapped the thought. Since it has levels of speed I will never use. Base M3 it is for me and the jump alone to what I have now will be phenomenal. Especially the battery life.
Thank you! Been hoping someone would show this one- it doesn’t have a pro chip, only 8gb ram and so expensive still. I would love to see an in-depth comparison to the base model M2 14” or M1. Also wouldn’t it be better to just get the Pro version if you are going to do that much upgrades? I love Macs- had them for years but felt a little disheartened (?) by a few things with the release this year
I think silver is the safest bet over the space black. I’m worried about the scratches being more visible near the ports

They only slowed down the 256 gb ssd on the m2 not the 512 gb or higher
They slowed down the 512GB M2 as well, using 2 nand chips instead of 4, at least on the Pro Models@@naim3968

M3 MacBook Pro and m3 pro MacBook Pro are two different machines. M3 pro MBP has the 3rd USB.

I have a dell core i7 16gb RAM from 2017 and I would like to exchange it for a macbook pro.
I don't use it for video editing or gaming, so I think M3 would work, but as it has only 8gb of RAM, I'm afraid of regretting it, because I tend to use multiple tabs and apps at the same time, multiple desktops... Do you think this cheapest model of macbook pro can work well with multiple google tabs?
during final paper I foud myself with more than 50 tabs opened in chrome, plus excel, word, and other apps 😵💫 I'm afraid 8gb of RAM may not be enough
macOS works differently to windows and using both I find I generally need less ram on my mac than windows machines. I’d recommend going with base BUT buying directly from apple. Open and test it out and then you have 14 days to return should you find the specs being too low.

Great video! Personally I've had the M1 MacBook Pro since launch and it still functions great! However, now that I'm doing video work 24/7 I need a bit more power and I'm considering either the M3 Pro MacBook or a Certified Refurbished M2 Pro/Max MacBook. Additionally, I love working on 2 external displays and the base M1/M2/M3 chips don't support more than 1 external display. I'm very excited to see the performance on these knew machines!
Please don't fall for the hype. That M1 Max will last you a long time. Your current computer is more than powerful enough. Keep your computer, save money and ignore these damn UA-camrs 🤦♂️
@@ONEWAYLEEWAY I totally agree that the majority of people who have an M1 Max MacBook Pro probably won't need to upgrade to the M3 models. However, personally, I never mentioned having an M1 Max, I have the base M1. Additionally, the advances Apple has made with it's silicone between the M1 and M3 is still incredible, even if it isn't the same jump we had from Intel to M1, hence the "hype" is fairly justified.
Also, coming to a video about a new laptop just to tell others to ignore the "UA-camr" seems unnecessary. Emkwan has been making videos for over a decade, I'm pretty sure people want to listen to his opinions.

This guy is very unrealistic. Most people keep their computers for 5/6/7 year.. NO ONE in their right mind is going to upgrade from an M1 Pro to an M3 Pro or an M2 Air to a M3 Pro. Only UA-camrs and wannabe UA-camrs do this🤦♂️
Listen back to what I said: if you have an M1 and KNOW you need more performance jumping up to M3 Max makes sense otherwise you don’t need to upgrade.
@@EMKWANREVIEWSIf you have an M1 i doubt you need much more performance. Saying stuff like this pressures average people to upgrade when they really don't need to. It's actually crazy what the Apple badge does to people...
