In this exercise the team will experience in a playful way the communication basics. There will be a sender, a receiver, and a lot of noise. Just as in real life, those three elements together form communication. Everyone talking at the same time makes this exercise challenging. 💬

Do you like this exercise? Let’s give these variations a try:
1. You can tell the participants that they can speak as loudly as they like. They will discover that talking louder doesn’t necessarily guarantee clearer communication. Since everyone is talking louder, the noise level will increase, and no one will be able to hear each other anymore. They will discover that talking very loudly doesn’t help people hear you better.
2. During the last part, you can make it a bit easier by giving them a theme for the random words, for example, “having fun”.
Can’t get enough of this exercise? In my new book you will find more variations. Plus 100 other team building exercises, including:
• Extensive explanations
• Multiple variations
• The outcome of each exercise
• And a QR code linked to the corresponding video

Hi Team Exercises! :) I'm a DepEd teacher and I'm teaching Oral Communication. Currently, I'm making an e-book for my students, can I use this video as one of my references? Hoping for your positive response.
Hi Mezel, great to hear you want to use this exercise to inspire your students! :) Yes, if you link to this video you can use it. I don't want you to download this video and upload it again, but if you make a direct link to this video it is fine. And when you finished the ebook, I would love to see it! :) Good luck with it!
I'm making a direct link to this video. Thank you so much! Hopefully, if everything is okay, you can have a copy of it. God bless!
