- 1999 Toyota 4Runner Limited package with the 3.4L V6, automatic, 4wd, 176k on this one and still running strong! The limited comes with leather seats, power options, sunroof and body molding accents, fog lights, locking differential and more. This 4runner runs and drives great!

I have one just like this. Got it in El Monte ,Ca. 2000. brand new for my wife. WE STILL HAVE IT! Just renewed most of the engine components. Now shes getting a new paint job ,All around new tires. It only has 161,000.
My family got a 4Runner completely identical to that, down to the color (desert dune) and trim. Only difference on yours is the four wheel drive. Amazing vehicle. We decided to get rid of it after the oil seals blew, rather than just replacing the seals. Parents then switched to Honda for one vehicle (CR-V) before immediately switching back to Toyota (RAV4) for their next vehicle.
Special Forces love them. When units are re-deployed elsewhere ,the local warlords are given the 4runners as presents and thanks for the cooperation.

Used to have a very rare 97 with Enkai wheels and the gold package. 4 cylinder engine. Got good gas mileage but was slow as molasses and incredibly bouncy in the back seat. Luckily I didn’t ride much in the back.

I have a 98' Limited, the interior looks the same, though it has a green exterior...
moses knows there’s a few differences, the climate controls and audio buttons in front of you could tell, e brake and cup holders are updated. The rear window button is also located under the clock which they moved from the top left of the dash to the middle

Does this year Toyota have a timing belt or a chain?
The 3.4 v6 has a belt... the 4cyl 2.4 has a chain and I think the 2.7 does also...
