got this one... if you see it in real life it is 100x nicer than any submariner... soooo happy with it. since i got it my royal oak is in the box and not used at all

Both are amazing watches. I'd prefer Rhodium version as I feel that one is more complete and fit with bezel more. But no matter what Yachtmaster is the best designed watches of Rolex imho. just my 5c.
Yacht-Master prices are going up, fast. Recently a deceased Rolex CEO's solid platinum Yacht-Master sold for over 2 million and thats had a profound affect on this model.
904L may be more corrosion resistant in conditions it will never encounter but it's softer than 316L, so it will look like crap after a few years of wear.
In the end it's basically jewelry and this watch is probably more of a dress watch than a sports watch. Honestly, the white metal bezels are less recognizable than black sub ones, so it's almost a little sneaky

I like how the lugs seem to be more canted downwards than on a submariner. Will compliment the natural curvature of the wrist much better.
