Very helpful video. It helped me walk the right direction. And are now (10 November 2023) on this airport. A few additions about transit security. There is one entrance but lines in two directions. Meaning walking past the line and turn the opposite direction could result in a shorter line. Be prepared to hand over all liquids bought after security at your airport of previous departure. So drink on the plane. Also all laptops and other electronics are swapped. With me the machines needed to be brought in from elsewhere. The staff remained polite and informed people to wait. Not telling the machines needed to be brought first. This resulted in some delay and impatient people. In my opinion not realising in which part of the world they just landed. I understand safety here is of a bigger concern. Left of the escalators up very good cafe with pastries and pizzas with very comfortable chairs and friendly staff.

there is a very close airport hotel that you get to through the hotel shuttle, I am not quite sure if a reservation is needed but I know I stayed the 1 night because of my overnight layover

Just visit and see in these videos what wrong with this amman airport for not giving 2boys wearing shirt of palestine to entering the plane.. are you gonna tell a shirt with palastine flag more dangerous than a drugs? Boycott this amman airports..
