Welcome to this episode of Baldcafe LIVE. We welcome the Lucky Beard Brothers. Identical twins who both dealt with balding hair and shaved their heads bald. Here they are to share the first time shaving off their balding/thinning hair and we also sat down to talk about life after going bald.

It's interesting that the 2nd twin still held on for awhile, even though he knew his brother rocked it/knew what he would look like.

Huge improvement! Everyone says bald and bearded is the way to go, but I digress; it's bald with a mustache that looks best.
Yeah the beard doesn't do a bald head any favors. It's all about framing and the giant beards destroy that.

@@graeme1744 Kevin is in the meds and does a lot of other stuff. He has a pretty good head of hair. He desrves it. He worked to hard to keep it and it's been a success.

Fought going bald like hell... Used Rigaine for a few years with some success, but then thinning resumed. Got hair transplants... did well for about 6 years, and again, thinning started to hit again. Even got SMP to make thinning less noticeable, but had to keep remaining hair really short.
One morning, it hit me that I was sick of the shit... clippered off what was left, then shaved my scalp clean. Never before felt such instant relief. Actually thought I looked kinda macho with slick head and beard.
All those years of fighting it for naught. Like the look, like the feel... embrace baldness as a part of manhood.

@exactly1176 Failed to mention that... actually I did take fiasteride. Took perscription dosage for a few years. But my cousin (he's also my doctor) said one of the other meds I was taking... don't recall which one... would have pretty much the same results. Maybe with the passing years, it lost effect.
Guess overall I kept my hair longer than expected. My Dad went bald in his early 40's. Except for a thinning crown, I kept mine into mid-50's (67 now)... that's when it thinned out super-fast. But bro (64) still has a head of hair so thick he'd never find a tick if it crawled up his neck.
Shaved my head maybe 3 years ago. Maybe it was just a delayed mid-life crisis. But still, absolutely no regrets that I picked-up the razor.
Unless folks are lying to my face, everyone tells me I don't look my age (maybe genetic... neither did Dad or Grandpa). Maybe that mindset made the transition to a shaved head easier.
Just wish this old man had the balz to do it maybe 5 or 10 years sooner

The one truth you have to internalize is that NOBODY GIVES A SHIT if you are bald. The most you will get from people you know is "hey, when did you shaved your head?" or if they want to be nice they'll say "you didn't have to do that yet" but that is one time thing and everyone moves on in one microsecond after saying that on your day one after shaving.
And evem if they do stay bad stuff you just have to develop thick skin and not pay heed the stress is gone and thered nothing left to lose
Yeah. When all is said and done mo one cares. So bald or hair it's all for the actual person who's living with its.

Just an Idea: Maybe you could implement a section in your Videos called "Dating Life" after going bald.
I honestly think it's a big insecurity for a lot of ppl balding and one of the reasons why going bald is such a huge deal for ppl. If we see that it's not of a big deal dating wise, mb it would help some ppl.

You don’t have to have that haircut for your life you still have enough density to jump on fin but probably dutasteride in your case, and an oral min and get a transplant

@@baldnbearded sometimes a huge beard can make a completely skin shaven head look like a giant egg in a big nest. So I orefer what these fellows did. A nice stache to compliment the shaven head. It frames much better.
I'm considering regrowing it! Seems the comments are a mixed bunch on if I should or not.
@@luskybeardbrothers7281 the staches are cool. They look sweet. Giant beards take a lot of grooming, make people look older and if not washed properly can cause issues.

@@Baldcafe I'm talking about Gen Z. if you google "why does gen Z age prematurely" you will notice that it is a rather widespread and much debated topic to which they try to give the most disparate explanations, from internet abuse, to lack of physical activity, from junk food to vaping . but this is actually the case, today many young people aged 20/25 tend to look 10 years older. @@Zen-Way-Italia when I was mortgage banking the 25 year old "kids " looked way older than me. The reason. Stress and lack of sleep. They worried about everything. A laidback philosophy has kept me looking young. Yup
I am really glad for all these guys but why God/Nature gives so many men beautiful hair and then takes it away makes me sad especially when it happens at a young age.

@@BaldcafeI can. I think most fear the cone head/pointy head look. Look at Trey Gowdy. He's desperately trying to keep his hair. His head even with hair you can see he has a very elongated and pointed on top. He wouldn't look good bald. I know no one wants to admit it but it's true. Not everyone has a nice cranium size and shape for a total bald head. Sucks
