Lionhead studios said that it would be the greatest RPG ever made. In my opinion, it still is. The story and gameplay is unequal to any game to date. The story alone makes the game worth playing.
ambitious for the time, but i felt like Morrowind did more of what Molyneux was promising with Fable than Fable did lol. it ultimately felt way too linear than what was promised.
I would argue that Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic was a better game story wise and companion wise; but as far as OST and interacting with the world, Fable is top class!

Love you man! Thanks for upload this delicious loop i would like to share a phrase of a villager from Bowerstone but i just played the game in spanish 😆 🍻
It's a shame that Molyneux overpromised on this game so hard and gave it a sour taste. I was completely unaware of his public bullshitting and played this with completely fresh eyes when the extended version came out on PC and it remains one of my favorite games of all time. I hope more people go back and give this game a fair shake, because it really is something special. My biggest wish is for Microsoft to release Fable 2 on PC and re-release Fable 3 with all the DLC bundled (since, as I understand it, the DLC is now impossible to get legally). I'm not against seeking out... alternate sources... of games that the original publishers refuse to make available in a playable state (Again, as I understand it, the death of GFWL basically makes Fable 3 unplayable without fan patches. There are, apparently, digital keys still available for Fable 3 on Amazon, but good luck actually playing them since Microsoft nuked their own DRM "service"). Apparently Fable 2 emulation is in a playable state, these days (there are lots of reports of it being buggy, but apparently a lot of that is outdated and recent versions are much better) but that still requires a lot of fucking around with fan patches and emulation settings, or you can also play it with some Microsoft cloud game streaming service, but none of that will _ever_ run as well as a native application, no matter _how_ good the emulation or streaming gets. I don't think it's asking too much that we get a port to a system that is _still_ Microsoft's. I _know_ porting games is not "easy." But Microsoft _has_ the talent to do it. They _own_ both of the systems as well as the IP. And they're sitting on a franchise that's primed for a reboot. I think we're right at the point where enough time has passed that there's enough nostalgia for a port to sell well and stir up renewed interest in the franchise, and where a lot of the bad taste left in everyone's mouths from _"a certain someone's"_ self-destructed reputation has faded from most peoples' memories. IDK, now that they own Bethesda, maybe they just don't want to risk having Fable compete with another of their IP's? That would be a real shame if that was their internal justification. I think that Fable, if handled correctly, could fill a similar, but distinct enough place in gaming to not take away anything from TES. Hell, with Bethesda's schedule, it could be a great way to span the gaps between Beth releases.
Thank you so much for uploading this soundtrack. I have been looking for it in a hearable quality and you the only one on UA-cam who can offer that. However, is it possible that you upload this soundtrack not as a 1 hour version? Thank you
My only complaint is that you could never bring weapons in. If I can over power an ancient dragon and owl demons, then what super-powered deity of a guard is taking my weapons when I go through the gate?
I remember getting a shop keeper drunk so I cud steal an obsidian Claymore and I managed to push him down the hill and got back to the stall and pinched the sword and the game fixed itself or glitches cos the the shop keeper was in front of me and alerted the guards haha 🤣🤣🤣
I don't think this game is "good", at least not in a conventional sense. Regardless of that idea, I love this game. I've put a ludicrous amount of time into it. It's so quirky and lovable.

Admit it, we all heard it in our hearts.
The music in this game is so fucking good, this one is a banger
Danny Elfman
The composers of Fable's soundtrack absolutely nailed it. Reminds me of Medievil from the PS1 days.
Medieval was advertised in Jersey Devil's cd jewel case flyer. Such great artwork
Medievil is such a legendary game. After all these years I still listen to the OST, its a masterpiece, just like Fable.
This and Skyrim are probably my favorite medieval fantasy RPG'S. Timeless games.
I always thought of Skyrim as the mountainous wasteland full of snow, and of Oblivion as the fairy tale RPG full of Skooma.
I'm glad there's a channel still honouring fable, keep it up
I definitely will!
Fable *and* helluva boss fan?!
Hero: I’m gonna strip down to my jimmies to go stop some bandits
Everyone: WOOHOO! YEAH!!
One random guy: "THATS MY MAAAAAAAN"
The SL1 Run we didnt know we needed. Hitless, naked, WL0, no roll, no sprint, no magic, no bow.

"The Tavern? Marvelous, isn't it?"
Despite the years, and the countless games.
This is the song that always at the back of my mind.
"Hero!" "Hero!"
omfg that little girl
This is the vibe playing in my head constantly. Fable warped my brain

The story alone makes the game worth playing.
Oh, of course! Admittedly though the story is a bit cliche.
ambitious for the time, but i felt like Morrowind did more of what Molyneux was promising with Fable than Fable did lol. it ultimately felt way too linear than what was promised.
Amazing game in its own right, however the story is far from amazing.
I would argue that Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic was a better game story wise and companion wise; but as far as OST and interacting with the world, Fable is top class!
@? no, a basic hero revenge story is a cliché
honestly one of the best songs in the entire game
"Stay within the law."
I remember being so happy I had an original Xbox every time I loaded up this game.
You are a hero
You call that runnin? YOU SNAIL.
That way you useless Filth!
Ah seems you are quite the athlete aren’t you. Escort him to my chambers.
You worthless BALVERINE TURD!
This song has always been stuck in my head xd
"chicken chaser? Do you chase chickens?"
I remember this Fable on the very first Xbox, god I still have memories of this game, and now I want to relive those memories
I didnt know I needed some nostalgia. Thank you.
Listening to 1 Hour Version makes me wanna hear the 10 Hour one
