My brother and I used to play this game all the time. He passed away almost two years ago and I haven’t been able to listen or play without feeling sad since. I’m hoping the new fable will be everything we both always hoped for and more. I always caught him hanging out in Knothole Glade.
I have fond memories of this game with my brother too. I used to play it on his computer, while he was studying and he would occasionally watch. Strongest memories with him and this game are linked to this place and this music... It has been close to 4 years without him now, but every time I listen to this, I am bit sad and nostalgic, but I think I'm more than anything grateful to have childhood with him by my side ❤️
I understand that feeling too. I hope we all find what we're looking for with new Fable. Knothole is my most nostalgic spot. Can't shake the nostalgia.
@@AlluckyTV doubt any fable made or 'remastered' under the gaze of the ego tripped original guy or any of the other 'historic' studios be worth it though :/ ..saddly think anything from either of those sources be dumbed down , and laced with drm or hamfisted in changed to excuse microtransactions of some sort or another :(
I loved to stay in this place, it were my chilling place, right now i lost my controller. And i cant play it sadly I love the envirovment and id really like to live in a place like that. With pine trees everywhere. Some little rain and a nice sound of birds cheeping around (im sorry if its not cheeping, correct me)
I like that this track is essentially a remix of Oakvale's theme. Makes the place feel familiar in a way you can't quite explain until you hear about Scarlet Robe.
This might as well be where I live in Washington state. It rains nonstop, there’s pine trees everywhere, and the coyotes might as well be balverines. Might be why I feel at home here so much and spent the most time here.
Same! As a kid I would run around murdering all the traders that would give me shite prices. I did replay the game recently and was the best human being ever though. Does that redeem myslef? I was an odd child.
Yeah love the Pacific Northwest, awesome vibes. Alan Wake, The Last of Us Part 2, Life is Strange, Twin Peaks, no wonder so much great media is set there.
@@OfficialYondoth it's weird I had absolutely no morals when playing this as a kid and murdered people just cos I felt like it. But replaying it now when I'm older I feel really bad if I accidentally hit a trader or something and have to make a conscious effort if I want to be evil.

This town was the town that had much of my first long involved moments in it. This game would be played usually near my grandma because she loved the world, music andoments of the game. Except when I'd kick the poor chickens or save then go on rampages for fun before quitting the game for the night. This game didn't need to be open world in my opinion. The memories I have of this game are vaster than any open world it could had been.

Despite the small map sizes and invisible walls, the woods and Albion in general always felt so vast and mysterious.

In a way, the small map sizes symbolize the game. It's kind of small, maybe lacking a little in content but it's a masterpiece for what is there.
A childhood home. The armor was good, the card games were nice, there were balverines, and the music was fantastic.
I only ever played the card matching game because it made me rich quick. lol
I spent an ungodly amount of time here. It feels like home to me.
This is by far the perfect ambient music thing on UA-cam.

one of the best games ever made.
I would always spend time in the bar here. Coolest town in whole game if you ask me.
they had a badass tattoo artist and barber and, after making it through that balverine forest to get here, I actually felt like I'd earned the tattoos
yup for sure same here!
very good memories... only two games gave me the best musics, fable and WoW
Pretty sure I've fallen asleep before while in Knothole Glade and this hits a strange familiarity that nostalgia doesn't quite describe
I used to sit on my dad's lap and watch him play for hours until I fell asleep and I can agree.

Only played Fable 2 again back in October. I'm about ready to play it again. What a game. 1 and 2 were glorious.

Knothole Glade was always my favorite town in Fable. I just love the art style and rainy atmosphere.
