To everyone saying the flood is not that deep you are the same people who drive through floods and then have to be towed out. Also I have many times seen cars get stuck in floods that deep and need to be towed.

Its not deep, slow the traffic down so they don't hit it unaware but that was barely above his ankles. The sort of car that that water would prove a problem for is a Ferrari. As you saw, a car passed safely through with no problem, it didn't get stuck.
I've driven through roads deeper. Just go at a slow steady pace and you'll be fine. Important thing is to make sure the water doesn't go up into the air intake.
A few inches of water in the wrong place and you have yourself a hydrolocked engine and depending on the car that's a write off or a full engine rebuild or replacement 😂😂😂😂
@DayOneNotOneDay-f8h some cars have air intakes low down in the engine bay. This can cause water to be sucked into the engine and hydro lock it.
I have seen a video on here about a guy who had a top of the range merc. He wrecked his engine going through a heavy rainfall. New engine cost $70,000.
Don't forget the waves caused by a car hitting the water.
I love Arizona's "Stupid Motorist Law" where a driver becomes liable for the cost of emergency services necessary to rescue them and recover their vehicle if it becomes stranded in a flooded area.

What about at night where a flooded road hasn't been closed or there's no warning? I bet plenty of those cases get tossed if there's no flood markers or warnings.
@@jeanaprewitt9658 Still stupid, you should drive to the conditions. Just because there isn't a sign saying "road flooded" doesn't mean you cannot use your eyes and see that the road is infact covered in water.

@MUFC1933 I laugh also. Its usually expensive cars that get stuck. In one video, there was a blue BMW that hydrolocked. You could hear the engine knocking just before it stopped. After that, it would not even turn over. Hilarious. 🤣

It was like that.. at that moment. Roads crumble pretty quickly when under water. I've seen it here in Australia with flooding. 2 cars infront of me, first one past easily with water barely clearing the rubber on the tire, by time the next one went through the road had sunken and it went into their motor and seized it.
Some cars have a low down air intake, a spray of water can get into the engine via the intake and hydro lock the engine.
