- Join me for my first ever visit to Kings Island amusement park in Mason, Ohio! We visit during the park's 50th anniversary celebration and enjoy classic rides like The Beast - the longest roller coaster in the world, The Racer - also celebrating its 50th anniversary, as well as many other iconic, world class rides & attractions including Mystic Timbers, Orion, Diamondback, Flight of Fear, and even adorable rides like the Woodstock Express in Planet Snoopy, and of course the spooky and fun Boo Blasters on Boo Hill (our 3rd version of this ride so far), and rode to the top of the Eiffel Tower! We also got to see the special, limited time only showing of Phantom Theater Encore - an absolutely FABULOUS, hilarious and spookily fun show celebrating the former ride, and ate lots of delicious food using the all day dining plan including the famous blue ice cream! We enjoyed the 50th anniversary parade and closed out the day seeing the 50th anniversary fireworks celebration and I shed a few tears! I hope you enjoy experiencing this day with us as much as we enjoyed it, it was absolutely memorable, wonderful and we just love this park and already can't wait to return! Let me know what your favorite part of our day was and thank you for the encouragement on our summer 2022 road trip so far! There's plenty more to come!

MY FIRST TIME AT KINGS ISLAND - hope you all enjoy experiencing it with us! 💙💙💙
I loved it
I loved what you said about The Beast! Just too bad my first loop coaster is no longer there, The Vortex.
My home park! So glad you went!
I love KIngs Island and the blue ice cream (I’ll always call it Smurf ice cream since that’s what it was called there in the 80’s. PS they had the best Smurf boat dark ride back then too! 💙)
My favorite Cedar Fair park! Love The Beast and that blue ice cream is amazing. ❤️
Thanks for coming!
We had the best day!! 💙💛💙💛
If a show based on an extinct dark ride can make people who have never seen the dark ride fall in love with the ride, it's a damn good show!
Agree!
King's Island is really underrated and I am so glad you were able to experience it. I have a feeling Cedar Point is coming up and I am so excited. You are the best Jackie! 😃
🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 I’m loving being on the road and doing all these new things, it’s the best and I appreciate you being supportive my bro!!!
@@SuperEnthused I don't know how you find these Awesome parks Jackie but keep on rockin very cool 😎👍
Try my best favorite Restaurant and dessert 🍫🎂🍰 today and try some coffee ☕☕ and tea sit-down restaurant to relax cool off refreshing drink today have a super fun day
I know I'm leaving this comment super late, but watching this one was really special. My wife went here all the time as a teenager so we watched this last night and she shared all her memories of the park. Thanks!
I LOVED that Brady Bunch episode and think of it every time I see videos of Kings Island
THANK YOU for including so much of the Phantom theatre show for those of us who will never get to see it, we could feel your love for it through our tv and it was all smiles here in this household ! Another excellent vlog from you miss Enthused , the best Kings Island vlog I’ve seen our whole family loved watching it with our lunch today 😻
We went to Disney to celebrate their 50th anniversary but it doesn't feel like the are celebrating the history of the park. This nighttime show gets you in the feels and celebrates Kings Island history. Another great video. Disney take notes.
Everything about this really felt like a celebration of the park and its history, so well done!
Holy Moley the voices in that live show!! The singers were incredible and the actors sounded so professional! I would have loved that even without having been on the original ride.
Sometimes there is also a male and female doing aerial work during the show.
@@vandy0419 luckily I got to see that today it's really cool!
There's a video here on youtube that someone took many years ago on the ride!!
Don't know if anyone else would remember but there was a time with the Racer that one of the cars went backwards and THAT was an experience!!
Yes, remember the backwards racer. It was such a unique experience trying to hang on
I remember. ❤️
Reminds me of my FAVORITE literature line - 'MEN SHALL LOVE ME AND DESPAIR'
You’re in my neighborhood, we live 8 minutes away. I worked there in 1977-78, and played in the Clown Band ! Have a safe and fun trip !
Boo Blasters used to be the Phantom of the Opera. The queue in the first big room scared me so bad as a kid that I was bawling and had to be walked back out the entrance! 😂😂😂
THE park I went to a Dozen times as a kid! Still. Great park. It's mind boggling that Disney World and King's Island are celebrating 50 years to as I was there at the beginning and later on too! Love the video and YES, I will hit this park to relive and live anew what was and is there!
so happy I went back to find this. Kings Island was my first theme park and for a midwest kid it was like walking Magic Kingdom. The tower with the fountains was so cool. The racers early on was their only coaster. Later was the beast. Still unique to me as it goes through woods and uses the natural landscape. Your analogy to a long train ride is pretty accurate really..even sounds like it at times if my memory serves me. The rest though doesn't ring a bell though as it's changed of course. Looks like the festhause is still there..always good for a beer when I got older. I always was jealous of those who lived close and probably played a role years later in moving to FL. This has me thinking of going up again taking a visit. Thanks as always.
I’m absolutely loving this series! It’s so much fun watching you experience things for the first time and it’s like I am there and not recovering from surgery. You’re definitely helping me get through this! Safe travels! Send my best to Sam!
Every time I ride The Racer, I always have to take a look to see if Mr. Brady’s lost architectural drawings are sitting in one of those seats. 🤣🤣 Awesome video of an awesome park. Great job Jackie! King’s Island holds so much nostalgia and good feelings for me and so many others. I loved the old Hanna Barbera theming from my childhood days. I gotta admit some of the tributes to those times kinda hit me in the heartstrings. Totally agree that the Phantom Theater show was one of the best ever. We need to lobby King’s Island to bring back that ride and use those same performers as the voice actors! 🙂
Mystic Timbers is one of the best coasters around and The Beast is an absolute legend and one of a kind. Glad that you and Sam enjoyed King’s Island and hope you all come back again soon! 🙂
Can't beat a live show - such a throwback
Good you loved King Island. best Video of your trip besides the Holiday World one Jackie.
I think so too, Sue, so thank you!!
Kings Island gives me big Magic Kingdom vibes! Thanks as always for sharing the fun!
Totally top tier!
Mystic Timbers is my favorite coaster in the park as well! It's just an amazing wooden coaster. So fast and so smooth. They don't get much better than that one.
Yeah! You made it
Glad you liked it!!!
My daughter had blue ice cream at her wedding lol
Come back soon:) winterfest at the holidays is amazing too
Another great video SUPER ENTHUSED love Kings island !
I am so happy you went to King's Island!! I grew up going there with my family, we would go every summer the last weekend before school started. Watching your video brought back so many wonderful memories. The Beast and the Racers are two of my absolute favorite wooden roller coasters. Thank you, thank you!! Loved your video!
King's Island looks like so much fun! Thanks for showing this Jackie.
I’m currently watching this theme park fun while printing documents at work. I would much rather be there 🤣
I feel ya!
Thank you so much for this!! I spent the majority of the summers of my adolescence at King's Island. Phantom was still open then and the park was owned by Paramount the last time we went. We moved to FL and haven't been back in 20 yrs. Thanks for bringing me home for 45 wonderful minutes!! ❤❤❤👏👏🏠🎢🎢🎡🎡
How fun!! Such great memories! Hearing the theme song to the Enchanted Voyage brought it all back. The Enchanted Voyage was a ride similar to the Small World ride @ Disney World. A cute little boat ride in the AC but that song.... lol! If my memory serves right, the wooden western town was home to a "train robber" style ride on the train and in its early days had animal exhibits similar to a zoo. My days at KI was in the 70's and you can say that a LOT has changed over the years. Thanks for sharing your visit!
So fun !! I also love that they have a sensory inclusive show. I have a nephew who has autism and it makes me so happy to see so many places doing their part to include people in all parts of the spectrum 💙
Fantastic video Jackie, I love hearing your thoughts on all of these amazing parks and the rides in them, and I love that Sam is telling us what he thinks too! Have an amazing rest of your road trip!
What a nice park that is. You are becoming “Queen of the Coasters” 🎢! Love a park train ride…really cute. And those fireworks were amazing. Continued safe & happy travels.
I REALLY hope they'll bring the Phantom Theater back! I remember that ride being really good! Kings Island is a great park, with so much to offer! I absolutely loved Mystic Timbers! The Beast, Diamondback, Orion, The Bat, and Adventure Express are all well worth riding, too! I'm happy you guys had a great time!
Kings Island was the park I grew up in! It has always been an amazing park! I'm so glad you enjoyed it and will be back. The Beast at night is even more incredible! Love all of you and Sam's videos!! You guys are amazing!!
GREAT Snoopy hat
I love Kings Island so much, Diamondback is probably my second favorite coaster there. It's the best in the front!
So exciting to see you visit my local theme park! Glad you enjoyed your visit- bummed I missed getting to say hi!
Video was so much fun. Looks like a really cool park. Loved the Charlie Brown music. Awesome fireworks and lights display.
3:38 I love a headrest on a wooden roller coaster 🎢 too
This was the park I grew up going to with my family and friends. I even worked there for a summer when I was in high school - my first real job! So many great memories. Thank you for going to KI and sharing your experience!
Really nice video. Thanks for sharing new and interesting places!
We’re only an hour and a half from there! Try to go every year.
I like Snoopy, but really miss the Hanna Barbara theming.😢 The Enchanted Voyage ride was amazing! I still remember the theme song!
Always have to get a Huckleberry Hound blue cone!😄
Thanks for the video!!
Boo Blasters is hard to say.😂😂
Excited to watch. Used to work there in the late 70s. Went to Kings Mills High School
Awesome!
Night time show was pretty cool 🥰 keep me enjoying! Can’t wait to see what other awesome experience you’ll show us! 💙💖
Y'all's video brought back so many great memories!! I went there when I was in 9th grade. The Screamin' Demon was the first roller coaster I ever rode and now it's no longer there! I fell in love with The Beast and rode it until I got bored (maybe like 12 times lol). Thank you for the memories!!
Phantom Theater was located where Boo Blasters is now. You can see the box above the queue that the Maestro sat in, playing an organ. He’d turn around often to warn guests in line. The cars are the same too, just painted. Fun Fact, just like Haunted Mansion, it had a whole large set using the Pepper’s Ghost effect. It was a stage/theater as opposed to a ballroom. It was where the (slightly terrifying) skeletons are now.
In 2003, it became Scooby-Doo and the Haunted Castle. Hence the Castle facade. Layout stayed the same, but all scenery was changed. Boo Blasters only changed out Scooby animatronics for the ghostly characters you see now and is virtually the same exact ride.
Kings Island is the best! And the blue ice cream is the best. Must have sprinkles though!
Looks like a great place for fun.
Every evening spectacular are so different and so cool! Glad we can travel along with you two! Thanks !
So jealous of The Beast! I remember watching all the rollercoaster shows on Discovery/Travel back in the day, and that one was always featured. On my bucket list for sure! Dang, that lunch looked amazing! I've been on a version of Boo Blasters at Elitch Gardens in Denver. It was so cute!
Hi Jackie and Sam! So happy to see you two in my neck of the woods! Of course, I’m very partial to Holiday World, Cedar Point and Kings Island being at all parks multiple times myself. I was a bit bummed that your experience on Diamondback wasn’t your fav. But I have heard that it’s developed a rattle over the years. My family happen to have the best experience on diamond back, it was only a month old when we had our first experience… The guy seating people at that time asked if we had ever written diamondback before and we hadn’t and he said well you need to ride in the back then escorting us all to the back car. It was a night ride. I have never experienced anything like that on any other roller coaster since!! DA BEST!!
Loved it!!! So enjoying your adventures!! It is so fun to see all these different places!
What a great fun day at King's Island.
The fireworks 🎆 were outstanding. Thanks for sharing. From your No. 1 fans downunder 🇦🇺
I am so glad I found your videos. All the years and money I spent at Disney, I've missed so much more! Grant it, I'm only 2 hours from Disney so it's easy but there us so much more than just them. Thanks again for sharing! Also thought there night time show was great! By far though Holiday World is my fave so far.
Really been enjoying the last couple of videos. Mainly because you're attending the parks I grew up as a kid....KY Kingdom.... Holiday World....and now Kings Island
All three have brought back soooo many memories. Glad you guys have had this trip... keep up the good work 🙂
Thanks for visiting my park! I grew up there. I worked there as a caricature artist for 7 years! A great park to visit!!
I love watching your videos! You always make me feel happy, thank you so much for sharing your vacation with us. Bless you and Sam.
Enjoyed this very much. The first time I was there was in the early 1970s and the Snoopy area was Hanna Babara area which was good. Not only The Brady Bunch was there but they also filmed an episode of The Partridge Family there too.
Huckleberry Hound! What? Actually a contemporary of Woody Woodpecker! Many Sat mornings wasted as a kid watching reruns of both
Also: 25 miles north of you is largest museum in the world - its also free! Wright Patterson AFB museum, including planes from 1900s and space vehicles in three enormous hangers
Jackie, thanks for taking us on your trip. This park looked great. Be safe and have more fun.
Jackie and Sam, thank you SO much for sharing your FANTASTIC summer road trip with us and CONGRATS on getting married - best wishes to the both of you!! 🥳❤️❤️❤️
I love seeing and learning about the many theme parks you show us, especially the ones I didn’t previously know about and/or visit yet. For sure want to visit Holiday World and Dollywood at some point!
I also hope to visit KI and Cedar Point soon - CP wasn’t open yet when I was in the area a few months ago, gotta come back soon and try again!
What a show it appeared to be and a VERY talented cast - so cool it’s a tribute to the former dark ride… I felt I went on the ride too and didn’t even see the whole show. Brava!! 👏🏼🎭 “Here to revive what we didn’t survive” 😂
Oh yeah! Dance it out, Super Enthused! 💃🏼💜💚🎉
Will definitely have to try the blue ice cream when I go to KI! Snoopy (and the Peanuts theme song) is the best!
I can’t wait to visit! 😊 50th 🎂 KI 🎆 LOVED this vlog 🤩 Sending a lot of love to y’all and looking forward to your next stop! 💙 ☮️
Mystic Timbers is great. It has no trim brakes or mid brake run. Fast and smooth from beginning to end.
Just finished watching. Oh my gosh it looked so fun! Brought back a lot of memories. Haven’t been in years. Now we’re talking about going! They have a nice Indianapolis package! Thanks ❤️
Opera at a theme park ? How intriguing 🤔⭐️
Absolutely Broadway level!!
Completed the theme park triangle from growing up for me. Kentucky Kingdom, Holiday World and Kings Island! I love all 3 parks!!
We're so pleased to hear you had so much fun at our home park! Amazing! We hope you come back again real soon! Hopefully one of these days we can meet!
The Phantom Theater show really honors it's history. So many things done well in the play and performance.
It’s wonderful!!
Hi Jackie , loved watching you both enjoying your first time at kings Island Park :) So interesting seeing it all x
Greetings, Milady! Thanks for the look at the World of other Parks. You show us that there is another World of fun out of Disney and other Parks. The coomunity and I love you for this!
Signed
Sir Markus of Enthusedlandia
Noble Knight and always your Servant
The Woodstock coaster used to be called the Scooby Doo back in the 70’s. It was my first roller coaster. So glad you and Sam had a great time.
So glad y'all could make it out!
Hi, this is another nice park. The 50th decoration pretty. The shows was awesome, I don't ride Rollercoasters but I definitely will ride a train 😉. The night show was cool. Like you, the Charlie Brown part was heartfelt to me. I'm a collector of Charlie Brown Peanut Gang Snoopy stuff. The whole night show was cool. Thanks for showing all these parks that alot of us may never get to. Enjoyed. Be Safe Take Care ♥ Hope y'all continue having great road trip.
my family went here almost every year-and cedar point is right around the corner-- and always remembered the Italian ices, so have fun and see you on the next vlog......stay enthused..
You did have a great time at kings island with your boyfriend. Indeed. I went there summer 2015 with my brother, 3 nephews. My favorite was go Eiffel tower 🗼. We had great time. Have a great day 👍
Thank you so much for the video!! I used to go to this park on school trips back in the Paramount days (Phantom Theater was TOTALLY my favorite ride, btw!). When I got older, I really enjoyed Cedar Point, and that's usually where we'd go, but my family went here for a couple days last year, and we absolutely LOVED it (even more than Cedar Point)! We also fell in love with the overall theming, and that's pretty much what sold us. We're actually going back next weekend, so your video was perfect timing to help get me amped up even more. ❤️
Also, non-related, you were totally right about Fort Wilderness. We just got back a week and a half ago, and we cannot stop thinking about the campground and our overall stay. It was so magical! Thank you, as always, Jackie!! ❤️
Love the show, so fun! 🤩
I thought so too Kings Island is beautiful they do a great job with it Jackie
It’s awesome you Orlando based guys are doing our Midwest parks. Loved KI as a kid. With the price gouging at Disney right now, that Holiday World, Kings Island, Cedar Point loop is a lot better value and the rides are honestly way better.
I’ve been trying to show different parks for a long time and I’m glad others are taking notice and going too! ❤️❤️❤️ we got our Cedar passes earlier this year on the March and April road trips and this trip has been planned since then! the Cedar parks deserve a lot of love so glad if more ppl go :) it’s so refreshing to visit these parks w their great offerings for great prices!!
Just starting and already loving your take on this ! Settling in to watch the whole thing now 😻
Wow this took me back! My family went when I was a teenager and this brought back so many memories! Love it!
Thanks for sharing the experience. I've been to King's Island one time, and I had a blast. The Beast was a long wait when I went but well worth it.
Kings Island is where we go and get season passes cause it is 30 minutes from home.. Mystic Timbers is my favorite and of course the Banshee. Glad you enjoyed the park !!
You got me. I subscribed as soon as I saw you dancing in the parade. Love your enthusiasm!
Haha awesome! Hey, if they call you to dance, you gotta be a good sport and do it!
You and Sam add so much to the love of theme parks. Not everyone can afford Disney, and the parks around the country offer all the things that are old fashion America, from the food to the exhibits, farm shows and music. Thanks so much for the experience..
Agree!!! It’s an honor to show there is so much
More top tier family fun around the country!
I love this park! Although Holiday World is closer for me, I went to King's Island way more as a teen and in my 20s. Very fun park, filled with lots of good memories!
This is where I live at!!!!! Glad you are enjoying this!
I’ve been going to Kings Island since I was little and know it very well. It was really fun to see one of my favorite vlogs experience it for the first time. It’s always been a happy place for me to escape to once a year and you seemed to really capture that special atmosphere that I always feel when I’m there. Thanks for including it in your trip! I always look forward to your videos, they’re so lighthearted and fun! A welcome escape from these stressful and often difficult days.
❤️❤️❤️
My cousin went up in the Eiffel Tower in 1972 and put his head between the bars and got stuck! He was about 10 years old. I'll never forget that! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Omg that’s terrifying 😂
@@SuperEnthused We all say remember when...and laugh about it now 😊
Kings Island and Cedar Point were our go to parks growing up in Ohio. we had another cool park, Geauga Lake, which was adjacent to Sea World Ohio. it closed a while back. summers were never boring in Ohio. it's good to see you and Sam enjoying all this
🙂✌🏼a great view ty
My home park!
Loving joining you on your trek north. We leave for the Smokey's and Margaritaville in two days! Great job Jackie and Sam :)
I had to pause the video and say, Sam is amazing! such a laid back friendly guy, I absolutely love him in the videos. You two make such a great fun loving couple. Happy for the both of you!
Thank you SO SO MUCH! He really is a joy.
Easy on the eyes too, really handsome!
Hello Jackie and Sam welcome to Ohio txs for sharing your visit from my favorite park King island I’m so happy you both had a nice time
Glad you love Kings Island island as much as we do. Boo blaster used to be phantom theater, when it first opened it was Enchanted Voyage. Woodstock coaster used to be called The Beastie.
I’m so glad you loved King’s Island! The Racers were my first big rollercoaster when I was a little girl! I remember the Hanna-Barbera days and the characters very well! The Diamondback used to be my favorite but it’s been a while since I was on it. The Beast is sort of like the Voyager to me. I rode it for the last time about five years ago and I think I’m good! Can’t wait for more adventures!
I am loving your trips this summer I'm living through you and Sam..
If you ever come to Disneyland please let me know. I would travel the four hours to get to meet and hang out with you and Sam...
Awesome Jackie! We live about 2 hours from Kings Island…been going there for over 30 years! Thanks for visiting on your big road trip 👍🏻👍🏻
Another great video I just want to visit everywhere
Be thankful you rode the Beast this year, it was very rough last year the retrack was well worth it. Also I agree: Mystic Timbers is awesome hands down my absolute favorite GCI
