Since you did a video based on a request on what year you would prefer from the 80s, and 90s, i think you should do one based on what the late 80s was like compared to the early 90s and the mid, and late 90s compared to the early 2000s because many say the early 2000s was like the late 90s still.

I was watching days ago a last day of high school 1994 video, and just thinking how fast time really does go by since those who were graduating were 43-44. I was 1 year, and a few months here, and i feel old just thinking about it now 26 years later lol.
I love these videos- it feels so real because you see all these tiny little details like reflections on tables, and out the windows, and mail on the counter and it feels like real moments in time, not just a key curated thing- just the candid feeling of a normal day. Love it!
I have to admit, they lived a pretty nice middle class lifestyle for being Mexican at that time, since the majority of Mexicans in the 90s were working class people. I think Gilbert's family was like the small Minority of Mexicans who lived a middle class lifestyle at the time.
I'm Mexican and I knew a lot of Mexican families that lived like this back in those days. Nowadays, with the housing market it's hard for most ppl across the board to have this kind of lifestyle. My uncle lived like this and he would have the funnest Christmas parties with lots of people at his house; he retired like in 1999 and moved back to Mexico. It was so much easier to work hard, save up, and have a nice life back then.
I'm sure this is why they lost their culture and native language, AND YES NIGGA it is UN common for a real mexican family to be in the suburbs, not like today
