That Interviewer Looks like He is from 2020
I was thinking exactly that lol its all the old hairstyles thatve come back
I think it's one of the daddo brothers 😂
Right
xShii_00 no this is 80s its just lots of things don't and didn't change since then. Its just the dumb corny stereotype Halloween 80s costumes that makes 80s look funny and say certain people take literally. In the video as you can see these were the everyday look for people and its really not much of a difference to many today.
@@italianplastick4031 yep it's Andrew Daddo.
Those teenage boys are the ages of our dads and uncles now...

wtf?
Some of these people look 2020-ish, that's crazy. Fashion does really repeat itself eh
Not in the US. If you’d look at post-Soviet countries, however, you could see a dramatic difference there
Good fashion is timeless. As long as you don't lean too trendy, your clothes should last a few decades (assuming they are good quality and properly cared for)
There's been subtle changes.... But on whole I don't think fashion has changed drastically over the last 40 years
@@p0358 nope, i live in poland and sometimes when i look at high school photos from 1990s, the fashion look so much like todays
it's only americans, they never have any dressing style.
„Dogs are for life, not just for christmas.“ This really needed to be said 🙌🏻
More importantly for now should be, 'Dogs are for life, not just for self-isolation'. I've seen lots of people get dogs and cats because they're not having to go into work right now - I really hope they continue to take care of their pets when things go back to normal.
a w that’s got nothing to do with anything, it’s about adoption into your family for life, not treating a being who needs the same things we all do, and whose life depends on this all, as a temporary object. Not about happiness when the photo was taken and that’s it. And it’s not bs, it’s utterly important. Have you got any idea how many get purchased from breeders instead of being rescued from death and then dumped when the novelty wears off? How would you feel?
Well he did already say it, 32 years ago
Are you dumb ?
For life? They live 15 years max

The difference between 1968 and 1988 is downright striking

I feel like Aussies back then sound more like Aussies today than Americans of the same era sound like Americans today, if that makes sense. Aussies often so relaxed and jovial, while Americans back then sounded more stiff and proper, in my opinion. Americans today sound more lively and less refined.

The guy is good looking. I looked him up "andrew" today to see what he looks like now. He 53 years old now with a family and looks middle age.
Andrew was one the “Daddo” brothers. They were huge on Australian TV at the time. The eldest Cameron married a famous Aussie model & he had semi-fame in the US as an actor. Google “Daddo bros where are they now”
@Heorteji Could be too much sun for pale skin 🤔

@@TheDefDudeNextDoorHypeStreetPa young people can pull off almost anything, especially feminine clothes
Yeah heck, if it wasn't for the camera, I would have thought this was filmed recently lol
Is it just me or does quality of life look great in this video?
Because people were normal compared to today 😂
I felt quality of life was better back then, and it's probably not just cause I was an adolescent. In this time, before the internet and social media, people were forced to be more outgoing, and the only thing that bothered people was the shit they would report on the news. If you flicked off the news, you were basically unplugged from the world, and there was high music culture that gave people alot of joy.
Might be the white people
Was more white
The quality looks really good for 1988 lmao if I saw this I’d think maybe the 90s lol
Standard definition is really underrated in my opinion. You'd be used to seeing home movies or degraded home VCR recordings from this era as apposed to videos shot on professional equipment which is why you think this looks good for its time (it is compared to what's readily available on the Internet from this era). E.g. news reports from the early 2000s and from the 1980s would been shot at the same 480i analog tape format (although I think some organisations would've moved to digital tape with the 480p format in the early 2000s)
Also, Betamax >> VHS
That was most likely recorded with a Betacam or Betacam SP camcorder. Betacam SP camcorders were the standard for TV until late 90s
@@Pasi123 Agree, this is likely Betacam, which had excellent quality for an analogue system due to component recording. Pro stuff was lightyears away from consumer junk back then -- and even some highly compressed digital stuff nowadays.
