I've never seen these floating head basketball cards. Love it. It made me laugh too, but it's kinda charming.

Gave a video like. The '67 Cepeda is a sharp looking card, fun one to have multiples of anyways. That '71 of his is terrific. Never noticed that with the Billy Williams. I wonder if that happened with other cards in the set. Love seeing the Mean Joe Greene and basketball cards as well. Thanks for sharing and hope you have a great Friday!

@@Hodges1455 Thanks Hodges! Yeah, from his MVP season! I just wish one of them had come without damage. I will be looking to get at least one more, lol! I love his ‘71! Such a great image with the black borders! I haven’t seen anything like that on any other 1973 cards. That’s why I am leaning towards it being a print defect more than anything. I appreciate you watching! Have a great weekend!

Really great progress on the player runs. You sure do pick interesting players. Elvin's last card is in Star.

Thanks Eric! There is a reason behind why I chose each player for these first few player runs, aside for Maravich, who I am just a huge fan of. The 62 Cepeda, and 64 Billy Williams were two of my earliest vintage cards of star players. So those two players have always stood out to me. Greene went to UNT where I went to college and is easily the biggest sports star to attend the university. I was really only focusing on the Topps cards for the player runs, but considering Topps wasn’t making cards at the time, I should add the Star Hayes to my list. I have quite a few cards from that first Star set, but Hayes isn’t one of them.

That Cepeda run is gorgeous. But come on. Mean Joe has to take the cake. He's Mean Joe! lol

I was considering a Billy Williams run but I don't have the patience, I just upgraded his 1962 Topps because the one I had was really upsetting (it was that border!) These are great, I 'm really turning around on the 1973 Topps. I used to hate them too. Funny how tastes change. I've had issues with that 1967 Topps Cepeda too. I think that people selling cards on ebay need to read up on grading standards. When I was at the Shriners Show over the weekend, I did buy a 1959 Topps Roberto Clemente for $40 because it had a crease. I didn't care cause I've never seen that card for that price. Congrats on the Cepeda run, and that 68 Yaz is killer!! 68is tough because ofthe centering but also the corners frey easily and make it look dirty. I can't wait to see the 67 Yaz - everyone should own that copy!

Thanks Ryan! Yeah, his run has been a bit more challenging than I was expecting. My 1962 Williams is sharp but very off center. I’m only happy with it because of how hard it is to find cards from that set that look nice. It is funny how tastes change over time. The 1973 set has never been one of my favorites from the decade, but I appreciate it. The back centering really bugs me. The fronts can have perfect centering, but the back looks almost miscut. Very interesting that you have had similar issues with the 67 Cepeda. Haha, I really think they should. I’m not super picky, but if it had a wrinkle, you really should mention it… What a great find! I would have been happy with that card at that price as well. Some cards are just nice to have in any condition. I actually won a pair of 1967 Yaz cards. One has better centering than the other, but both look nice from the pictures. Really excited to finally have that card for his run. It’s definitely one of my favorite cards of his. Have a great rest of your week!

I love the floating heads. Ttm crew is doing hair of the month. Pete maranage could be a winner one month with that floating head card

One time I got a Lou Pinella 70? and there was a big wax stain on front which always cleaned off, but it left a green cloud stain on his face.
