Bought a 1004 and put it in my daughter's scion tc running in 3 channel configuration with 4 polk db652 coaxials and a polk db10 sub. Was so impressed i immediately went and ordered a jp95 for my vehicle and will be ordering a jp77 in the very near future for our highlander SUV.

Hey jp ur definitely taking over the game much props to u. FAQ for u is a 400amp alt a d3400 under hood a big 3 and a lto6.0 enough electrical for a jp43 a jp234 and a skar 150.4
More battery power is needed, recommended lithium if your gonna spend 500 or more

I bought the MM1004 in orange to match my car but can't run it as it goes into protect mode at low to moderate volume, especially playing digital music. I have an old JVC 65w x 65w with only thermal protection that plays everything, even low quality digital tracks off UA-cam louder & cleaner without shutting down prematurely. Being the MM1004 is class D, it makes everything sound digitally shrill. All my class AB amps sound cleaner and smoother than this one. I finally went with the Seventour 90W x 4 on Amazon which has the power I want, smooth linear sound, and doesn't false-protect on me. Plus it eats up all the low quality digital garbage tracks I feed it without shutting down. There is something about the stair-stepped shape of digital audio tracks that makes this amp perceive the flat parts of the signal as being clipped when it's a perfectly normal attribute of digital audio. The Seventour is a beast compared to the MM1004. The MM1004 also has more engine noise than the Seventour. The MM1004 is junk in my book as I run my amps hard and it shuts down before it ever warms up. I had high expectations and really wanted it to work out.

another option is to get the 100.4 and run that component set with active crossovers built in to the amp

The 1500 is the one I have decided on now I just need to figure out the 3 6.5" subs I want to go with. I have a sub box picked out. Building funds at the moment.

@notsure984 yes a double cab tacoma. Going to be removing everything behind the back seats. Thinking of going with Maui sounds box or something similar.
@Squeek-nd5ki cool. I've got an 05 f150 and it's before they made the back seats will a lot of room. I was able to get my old Memphis monoblock from high-school and a 10 inch solobaric in a sealed box under the back seats. It's one of the re produced solo classics when they re-popped the circle ones. It's a full solobaric motor structure though not the flat mount shit and I have it at 2ohms for up to 600 watts and it's pretty awsome for a bass solution that allows full function of the back seat.
I haven't ever heard 3 6.5s but to let you know it is possible to get a 10 inch full size solobaric in a sealed box under your seat. Also I am sure D4S has a 10 inch sub with comparable specs and mounting depth in one of the many brands they carry. Probly be able to get one for a few bucks less than a solobaric. My box has the sub facing downwards and has 2 wooden feet build into it so the woofer can move you'll I tried 3 othe subs and boxes before I ran into this one at a pawn shop. The woofer was wired in series for an 8ohm load so.... it probably wasn't romped on too hard.
@notsure984 sweet set up. I need full use of the back seats for my kids. I want to give 6.5" subs a try, the Maui box is ported and down firing and looked good from their videos. I had an old single cab s10 back in the day with a single 12 in a sealed box. I miss having bass and just want to add some back into my truck.

Better make sure H And S Motorsports doesn’t own the minimaxx name rights…. I don’t think they do, but they may have and can cause you a ton of trouble.
Doubtful seeing, that H&S hasn't existed for over 10 years and haven't gone after all the other 'mini maxx' sites.

I bought the 1500 and I really regret it. Down4sound is awesome and all but this amp kinda sucks.
It's not under $200.00,because if it's a$199.00. You have to think about taxes, so it's over $200.00 dollars.
Not all states do sales tax online purchases. So yes 199. Is under 200 it's literally 1 under . Complaining to d4s because your government charges you taxes ... Wow
