Solid review. My friend played me a quarter of the album. Usually, death growls bother me...but not on the songs I heard. I put it on my short list of purchases. I'm curious about the other two releases, too. I know Aquilus discography is only three albums deep, but I'd like to see a ranking episode.

Griseus is my personal favourite, even if it has slightly less mature, in my opinion, song structures. This one is my second favourite so far, though Bellum I isn't bad by any means. Griseus just has a completely ethereal, otherworldly atmosphere that's unmatched.

If it's pronounced as in Latin, it should be "a-kwee-lous" and "belloum". Rhyme already mentioned it very positively and that definitely sounds like the kind of black-metal that I should like. I've already added it on my very long list of albums to listen to.
