No other Christian Artist 'Ever' has done anything even remotely close to what Neal did with this double CD. In a world of mediocre Christian music, even back in 2001, Neal hit the ground running with this release. No one in the Christian genre has come close since. Doubtful anyone will because they just don't know how. And is this a slam on mainstream Christian music? Absolutely.
Other Christian solo artist? Definitely not. Other Christian band? Definitely Petra 😁
@@cipriantudorpop4483 Petra; great rock Christian Band but still had never done anything even remotely close to what Neal did with Testimony, One, ?, Sola Scriptura, Sola Gratia.
@@cipriantudorpop4483 they never did a big concept album though. Which is i think was is referenced.

I did not ever go to any of the Morsefests for the Testimony records, but I went for ?/Sola Scriptura and also Snow, and they were two of the best concerts I've ever been to.
As far as Testimony 1 goes, I've always found this one to be a little hit or miss with me. I think the music is great but some of the purely story songs are just kind of "wait for the next bigger song" for me. But still there are some songs on here that I return to quite often. I pulled up Rejoice/Oh Lord My God on the way into work this morning

Loved this concept! (no pun intended). That said, if you ever need someone to talk for way too long about how Ayreon's The Human Equation fits in perfectly with Internal Family Systems Theory, I uhh... I know a person. 😅

Interesting chat guys. Really enjoying it. You mention about Testimony being 5 parts / pieces. Neal put out the Testimony demos as a download and it’s how he assembled it - as 5 tracks. I used Audacity and spliced the final album together in the same way. It’s just a different way to hear it. Conversely someone once sent me Sola Scriptura with each of the long pieces split into individual tracks - so it became a 12 track album!
