Lovely hutch tour! Your new piggies are so adorable. Acorn is sooo tiny💕
Thank you so much!! Xxx
I love your hutch! Especially with how you made it your own!
Thanks! Me too, I love all the adaptions.
I love it!!! they are v v lucky piggies to have a mummy like you
Thank you so so much Hannah! And I'm lucky to have a friend like you! Xx
Thanks for sharing it with my Imy! It helped a lot. I'm getting guinea pigs and was going to give then a to storey hutch just smaller + put playpen outside of it to give them more space, but I'll stick with that! Lots of thanks From a 9 year old girl called Ayala
Such a lovely hutch! Haha and there's always that one hesitant piggy 😅
Nice set up Xx 😘 just a tip i have had the pets at home hutch for 4 years and it rots quickly and the back of our hutch fell off due to the lack of not many screws you must take good care of it Xx otherwise it MIGHT rot or build up rust x
Lovely hutch, what lucky piggies!
Hehe definitely! Thank you. Xx
My piggies don’t use this ramp. I had to cable tie a plastic tunnel on to the ramp for time to use it. It also provided more grip!
Looks really good, lucky piggies
What a nice hutch. Also I love how their is the tiny guinea pig next to the big guinea pig ❤️
Its amazing your piggiee are so lucky
Thank you!! They sure are!!
Imy, I would certainly recommend that you buy cat litter trays for them with easy access, and also when you do the Litter Trays you will need to put sme bedding in there to in my opinion! Those piggies are one lucky group! From Ayala Xxx
I love you hutch but what about when it's rains
Would this hutch be suitable for 2 small rabbits if they had a 8ft run attached 24/7?? :)
Flo Carter yes that would be perfect 👌
Where do u get your fleeces
dont use sawdust ill cause respitory issuessss also dont put the hay in their litter box because they then pee and poop all over the hay use a rack for the hay instead please
@Charlotte Moody they aren't all bad and I'm pretty sure their wont be soiled hay ti eat if its ina rack and this was from 5 months ago I do realise now I know more about rabbits than I did then but hay racks are perfectly fien for rabbits
you seem to care greatly for your piggies but they need a much larger cage. 10 square feet is recommended and you can build a C&C cage relatively inexpensively. They also need unlimited Timothy Hay or some other hay available 24 hours always (I recommend Timothy and Orchard grass hay). Also since they are very sensitive to respiratory conditions low dust bedding would be much better for them/ Also they have to have a stable temperature range 65 to 75 degrees. Good luck with the piggies. they are adorable.
Patricia Hill hey keep in mind this made in 2017 x
Patricia Hill and imy let’s them free range I believe x
This is the perfect size for the guinea pigs and there is hay available , not trying to be mean though xx
Really cool cage:)
Thank you! I'm glad you think so.
AND FLO CARTER NO IT WOULD BE PERFECT FOR TWO RABBITS!!!!! THEY NEED SOMETHING BIG SUCH A BIG PET SHED, I WOULD RECCOMEND GETTING A SUCURE WOODEN RABBIT SHED WHICH IS LIKE A BIGGER HUTCH BUT WITH MORE SPACE AND A LOT WARMER!
Are you using the pets at home own wood shavings? xo
No it's from our local equine shop. :)
is this big enough for two guinea pigs? thanks
Olly Dickinson I would recommend getting an extra run on it
I have this hutch for four piggies. They also have a large play pen run.
@Karly Miller guinea pigs are fine outside as long as they have lots of insulation and they are happy ( and they have a cover for rain and wind) and lots of people have guinea pigs outdoors
Same. I'll just put it inside in a quiet area. Also because I don't have real grass in my backyard! But is you keep the hutch outside in a shed that's also quite good
Would this be suitable for one medium sized rabbit ? He would have full access to to our garden all day from 7ish in the morning to 5-6 at night ?
No this I definitely a hutch that’s more advised for guinea pigs. The stair case is super narrow and really really steep. I had to adapt it even for guinea pigs and rabbits find it even harder to use the stairs. So no I wouldn’t say this is a good one for buns but for ours who have a similar lifestyle, outside all day, we have a large one story hutch which is not only long but wide too so they have lots of great space. That one was from eBay!
Imy'sAnimals thanks xx
Darcie Flynn yes it is
hi where you buy ?? how much cost ??
Just click on one of the "Some products shown in video:" below that and then it will show you a picture of the hutch and how much it costs. Hope I helped! My name is Ayala and I'm 9 years old!
just bought this hutch and my guinea pig won't use the ramp, please help! any tips?
juliette randall takes pigs a while to get used to it! i found this ramp too steep hence why i altered mine. however, leaving trails of food on it helps encourage them onto it, or once they’re comfortable on one of the floors, move them and their items to the other floor so they recognise the smell and they should soon explore the ramp!
I’ve heard if you tie a tunnel to the ramp it’s easier for them
What was that in the back noise
Birds I think haha! Troubles of living in the countryside!
Where is frizzypig she hasnt uploded in ages btw i love ur vids and acorn is really sweet :)
Hello, sorry I've been having some issues with my technology :( i filmed with Imy today though! x
Hi, no problem, i just wondered where you were i was afraid something had happened to you :) and yay i cant wait to see it :D x
How do you stop pr dators like foxes
High garden fences and walls with a secure gate. They also have a cover over their hutch at night so no animal can get to the bars of the hutch. Xx
What cage is it x
The Bluebell Hideaway from Pets At Home! It's linked in the description! Xx
