i had 6 guinea pigs however one passed away on sunday. very unexpected. she was happy and healthy but on fathers day morning i went out to feed them and Boo (the guinea pig who passed) didnt come out for food so i quickly put down the food and walked around their pen looking for her. after a few minutes i found her dead in a pipe. i even have photos of her the day before wiggling around and weaking. i havent been at school and am having lots of trouble dealing with the sudden death.
This is literally the cutest thing! I have two little piggies right now, about 6 months old. They are the most adorable little things, they make me so so happy. I enjoy watching your channel and our mutual love of piggies :)
I wish I had a Guinea pig too.. My hamster died... Since then I've been feeling so lonely.. My family won't allow it.. My whole family likes big pets like dogs and cats.. But I like rodents... I wish my hamster didn't leave me... Rest in peace stuart..

I wanted to let you know that a hutch that size is good for 1 or 2 rabbits but guinea pigs should have at least 10 sq. feet cage space minimum size. they need lots of running space and room to be separate when they to. A C$C cage is great for herds and there are many sites to teach building on the web

My brother used to have two Guinea pigs, coconut and fudge, Guinea pigs are definately the best pets!! They were teddy bear breed, so their fur was really tightly curly and fuzzy. I'm definately going to get Guinea pigs of my own one day

If you cut up their veggies or treats into small bite size pieces and sit near or in their run or cage and everytime they come up to your hand and sniff your hand, you give them a piece of food or treat. This encourages them to know you're safe and they associate you with good things, such as food! Then they'll be so much happier to see you and will feel safe around you. Xx

That seems unusually heavy for a baby guinea pig? Are you sure that is right? When Lola was about 1 year old she just hit 600g so maybe you read the scales wrong. At 6 weeks old, a guinea pig should be around 200g.
I think you thought i was concerned about her piggy, I am not :) I was simply regarding my piggies weight. she was weighed by the vet, and it was actually my mistake, she is not 6 weeks old she is 12 weeks old :)
I’m sorry to hear that. Guinea pigs are a big and long commitment and can be quite tricky to look after. Your parents may not want to be taking anything else on for a little bit.

I have done all of my research and I asked my mom again for the hundredth time and she said I can get them of I can afford them. I know it costs hundreds or dollars and I have money saved up. my first guinea pig is hannah,hannah is a girl she's 5months old.and my second guinea pig is clay,clay is a boy,hannah's first partner and my third guinea pig is snowwhite,snowwhite is a girl,she's a happy guinea pig.when their always poeple,all of my guinea pigs are sqweaking.and my fourth guinea pig is grayson,grayson is a shy guinea pig,then grayson's girl now is hannah,clay ang snowwhite are partner's.hannah got birth and she has 4 baby's and after 1month all the baby died im so sad that they died,and when is august 21 snowwhite died by falling my brother told me that when she fell it got blood on the floor and all my guinea pigs now are3 hannah,clay and grayson.
Female guinea pigs usually weigh from 700-900g and male Guineas from 900-1200g. It does vary on their lifestyle, diet and breed though. So for a male that's just about right, don't let it get higher than that though, but it's a little bit high for a female guinea pig. Xx

If you go to Google look up 'how to convince your parents to get you a guinea pig' and go to the Wikihow article. It has great advice, trust me.
