I got this on my 7in wrist, and it fit perfectly. It's easy to read, and the 4 o'clock date just blends in like it's not even there. If you're thinking about a smaller diver, I highly recommend it.
I have this model in 33mm. As a female, I find the 33mm to be perfect since dive watches tend to be a bit bulky. If I didn’t have the 33mm I would wear this one. I think the watch is great.
Finally a compelling, colourful option for smaller wrists. I wanted a rugged, reliable Citizen for a while to use on holiday or casual. This could be the one!
Had this for two weeks now and this thing is awesome especially for my 6.5inch wrist, even though it is on the smaller side. The lume is absolute killer and during the day it is VERY legible, a lot better than my skx013, most likely because of the orange minute hand. Only thing I don't like is the mineral crystal and the slippery bezel.
I've been waiting a long time for something like this, and the SKX013 was the only decent looking ref I knew of. The fact I get a promaster eco-drive cheaper than what I could get for a SKX013 meant this citizen was an instabuy from me.
This watch is so close to perfection! NOTE TO CITIZEN: Sapphire is a must on a modern dive watch! The only exception perhaps would be if you were going for a very faithful 1:1 vintage reissue. Otherwise, they absolutely nailed it with this release! I would absolutely wear this watch and upgrade the crystal after purchase. Thank you for covering these types of releases. Your presentations are always on point. Very well done! 🥃
@@jasondiennis6087 did u mean that none of the divers care about sapphire? I do generally agree that it's probably non-divers who care lol, I think serious divers will use dive computers
Nice one ! I'm a big fan of watches with crown at 4(ish) o'clock. Have couple of seiko 5 because of that. Funny thing in Ireland some shops show this watch as discontinued and other have it for close to $400 !
I wish they would make an eco drive version of the ny0040, a 41.5 mm case. Or just a 40 mm version. Instead we’ve got two extremes here, a small 37 and a massive 44. Give us something in the middle!
Like the watch . Own a couple of citizen eco drives , have had no problems with them. I get a little annoyed by all the discussion on the watch size and wrist size . Too much wasted time in my opinion. I want to hear more about the watch. The size is not a deal breaker with me . If I like the watch I’m buying it ok . Enough about the size..
It's labed as a ladies watch...what a disrespect. There's so many men that prefer or can only wear sub 40mm watch. Citizen shouldve just labeled it as unisex
I am not a professional diver, just an occasional one, and for me, mineral glass is better than sapphire crystal because it is less fragile under pressure and is more anti-reflective. In fact, for me, the best combination is a curved plexiglass crystal, which allows you to magnify the dial underwater.
Dimensions are pretty perfect for a casual watch, but with much extra capabilities than the Citizen Chandler for instance. Definitely one i'll keep in mind.
Looks great, thanks for the review! This could be my next watch! I have 7" wrist so wondering if it is too small as I currently wear a Rangeman 9400. Think I need to find a shop to try one on. I think a smaller more discrete watch which is still tough would be great.
Bit too small in my opinion. A 37mm watch size is fine, but 37mm in a chunky dive style shape definitely looks very small in-hand and just as small on wrist as a 6.5incher
Love this watch, great size, been waiting for it, love the 44mm but just want it a little smaller but with the same quality lume and great bezel action
These are not new from Citizen, the made " Oxy Vega" sub brand in this size.... These are cooler though, but the Citizen Oxy Vega is still about at a fraction. Great quality
If today's trend is going smaller. That would figure. I'm looking for a little larger day date. I have heard this both ways. Do you measure across the crystal or as you showed across the bezel? I ‘m looking for a watch that may be a little larger face. Thanks
BTW i forgot to mention that the most beautiful Citizen Diver imho is the discontinued NY2300. Absolutely love that watch and the proportions and size are perfect for my thin wrist. It’s 39mm and I hope Citizen brings it back to life sooner or later. I would definitely buy another one with sapphire crystal and a 9 series movement.
Hello - appreciate your videos. I was hoping to get your thoughts between this Citizen and the Vaer Meridian D4 reviewed last year. They seem pretty similar…. Thanks!
Nice watch for smaller wrists but still looks like a mini biscuit tin. They shrunk the diameter but not the height. I guess it's difficult to make it slimmer with the eco drive mechanism. Would be perfect otherwise
Or the 38mm SNE573 and related family of 200 meter, certified dive watches that Seiko released a couple of years ago. I think those would be Seiko’s closest competitor to this Pro Master. And, the Seiko has sapphire crystal.
Seiko does have a midsize dive watch and solar, the SNE573 series, 38.5mm case size, 10.6mm thick with sapphire crystal to boot, came out in 2021 I think.
I am an extremely hypermasculine man and l have this watch, women's button down shirts with flower patterns, purple Dickies, pink All Stars and l don't feel any nothing whatsoever!
Ah... I thought it was going to be a perfect tool watch, but when I saw it in person it was just too small. I have a 6.3 inch wrist, but it looked way small. It was significantly smaller than 38.5mm Seiko SNE 575. It's because the dial on this is very small too. Also with the strap tapering down to 16mm.. not a good choice.
I got this on my 7in wrist, and it fit perfectly. It's easy to read, and the 4 o'clock date just blends in like it's not even there. If you're thinking about a smaller diver, I highly recommend it.
Yup. Perfect size coupled with your wrist size that makes women to be you and men wanting to be with you.
@@troll2637indeed @BennyLlama would you like to hangout someday... You look kinda cute

Citizen are unbeatable at this price range and eco drive is the best solar quartz movement in the world.
While I find that a 40mm size preferable for my 6.7 inch wrist, I definitely think that I could wear this as a daily grab and go.
I saw this thing several months ago and hilarious by its cute size, I also found a pink version of it and still giggles me

Fr these watch companies dont seem to understand that some guys just prefer smaller watches
You’re so right. It’s anachronistic. I have a thinner wrist and just prefer smaller watches. It’s not ladies or men’s, it’s a watch.
Poor boy, you don't want to be mistaken for a lady. As everyone should know, "lady" is insulting 😂
@@holeOfFameI think most women would be insulted if they were told they have “manly” wrists or “manly” shoulders

That Bulova is stunning.
I've never considered getting a Pro Diver, given its burly looks. But 37mm might actually work well. Hmm...
I have this watch, Love it. However, the date never seems to work correctly. Anyone have any tips on how I can fix this? Thanks.
Similar sized Seiko is the SNE571 at 38.6mm. I love mine on my 7” wrist, and ‘uncle seiko ‘ bracelet.

How about a 40mm citizen? From 44 to 37? Large wrist to girlie wrist?
