Glad I own one. It keeps very accurate time. A Citizen Pro-master is the best watch for the money. This proves it. Good job Red Dead.

Sturdy, cheap and well-performing movement fir its price.. An alternative in the past was the old Seiko SKX013 and the SKX007, but since they stopped the production the price doubled making it less appealing. PS Interesting fact about the watch used in the video: it was actually given to the navy soldiers in Italy years ago, without the name "Citizen" but "Marina Militare" written in its place and no red painting on the dial, only white.
Navy soldiers? No they were way way more than that, they were the FIRST navy frog-men, Italian navy create this group back in 1920 to sunk the British royal navy with a a group of immense brave soldier like Teseo Tesei and others who perform legendary war actions destroying many warships without even let the enemy understand where the attack came from with never seen amphibious skills in a war. Very enjoyable videos, I am watching so many now. The bezel black hole was funny.
Wait until he uses his time machine.
Damn my Citizen watch looks like this.... I can't imagine how hard that process must be.... Now I'm gonna keep it in good shape lol. Great video and editing.
When he busts out that microscope is when you know you cant enter this hobby
Or the fact that he found genuine Citizen parts. This is why I stick to Seiko and Vostok. But I was watching this to see how things are with Citizen as I’m looking at restoring a few.

Cousinsuk. Thats where he got the Citizen parts.
@orrange fingerss
A similar microscope(with camera & screen) is available for approx. 170€.
Less than you expected, right?😉
@@humanbeing1675 ah. I’ve looked at the site but when I saw the cost of shipping to Australia, I didn’t bother. Might look again. To see if it’s worth it.
@@humanbeing1675 ???? Oh shit maybe in can get in this hobby
The amount of right tools for the job is astounding
Great video. I’ve watched other restorations and you’re the only person I’ve seen pressure test a time piece.
Fantastic restoration on that watch. i really enjoyed watching you practice your craft, and bringing that watch back to life. It's really great to see the horology community growing. Many people would have just thrown the watch away, and bought a new one. Great channel, you earned a sub!
