Thanks for the pointers. One of my big fishing goals is to hook up on a large striper from my new kayak. I can easy cruise at 2.5 mph in this boat.

The fact that most ocean fish are so high in "selenium" explains why more and more research suggests the benefits of eating seafood outweigh any risks mercury exposure could pose. Its perfectly very healthy to eat striped bass.
I don't believe any of their mercury nonsense. Eat away.
