Awesome stripers, that kayak is the ticket to some big fish. looking forward to seeing some shore fishing action. I remember night fishing with eels, hate eels but love the results.

Built my own tube with a circle hook. Worked mint. The traditional hooks work great too. No gut hooks here

We had a wave down south of mid 20s up to 46 about 10 days ago. Been a little bit of a lull since then , so I imagine you're seeing those right now and going to continue to see them through the end of June. Would love to bring the Hobie up there and fish with you when things tap out in NJ
yea it definitely seems like there has been a push of big fish around here lately
@@Fish-RI had a different wave of fish show up this morning with sea lice on them. Must've came in from offshore. They're headed north now and they were all complete slobs. I'm guessing you'll see them in 10 days-2 weeks

@@mattbobsong680 why? I’ve been going there for years, parking at the lighthouse. Even when cops were there they never bothered me and told me to go park elsewhere and walk in. I was just there last week without an issue. Is this new?

I'm 25 and have been fishing Rhode Island my whole life from the shore. Can anyone help me out with a good spot for stripers from the shore? I don't fish past E.G, definitely not warwick. I prefer southern ri if anyone has any ideas.
P.S I pack out what I pack in and can't stress that enough.

I been wanting to catch one like that and feel that rush.. I caught 27" 25" nothing big but wow I can't imagine hitting a big one like that.., been fishing all my life but ocean water like 13 15 years and never seen one in my pole that big.. I do more pier fishing and cut bait.
