In Blender I found difficult to define precisely and easily (and for all the objects in the scene) the tiles measures (for istance 20cm). Very nice tutorial, thank you.
For some reason this doesnt work well, the position of my floor keeps changing and honestly the video is very unreadable at times so its like i dont know what im doing, it did help though to get to a next step so thanks for the work you put into this
@@uepmarti I think if you want more height difference between mortar and tiles that you should create the geometry. I think this can be done easy with array modifier or geometry nodes. Color should be able to set in the color ramp connected to the base color.
yes you can, but the reflection of light will be different (cycle is calculating light and shadows but eevee is simulating them so its not as correct as it should be in cycle)

Don't know why but immediately once I add the displacement node my entire floor goes nuts

He connected the color from the brick texture to the Principled BSDF
What if I want some tiles to be a different color what would I change ?
It should work just by changing the colors in the Brick Texture node (Color1 and Color2)

Is there a reason why the tiles don't follow the grid tile pattern on the z axis? they show as straight lines instead

How could i extrude more the tiles? In order to have a bigger level difference between mortar and the tiles
