@laszloszell I have listened to the disc several times since my original comment. It has grown on me slightly. In a few years time, this will be a Neil disc I will have trouble even remembering. Look at Neil's body of work over the last 45 years. Even the last 20 years. Does this disc even belong in the conversation with things like Harvest Moon, Sleeps With Angels, Prairie Wind or even Greendale. Le Noise leaves a lot to be desired. Peace, I respect your opinion.
Thanks for your 'pinion. Seriously, it's one of the rare NY albums I don't have, and I saw the Journey's movie and the songs kind of irritated me. This song is pretty nice, though.
I think you don't really understand the message of this song, and you hit a bad cord. If some haggard worshipers of Allah make more deaths in the West and Europe at this time, you seem to forget all the deaths that other admirers of The Lord have caused, and still cause within one's own cradle. This is a message of peace, Irish, Palestinians, and others will know I hope so if regain. And thanks to Neil Young for this truly beautifull song.
