I love the Behr chalk paint. I recently had it tinted to a Sherwin Williams color so yes you can have it tinted in more colors than just what’s on their card.
I have not tried the Behr chalk paint, but I think I will give it a try after watching your video. Looking forward to the part 2 video where you actually try it on furniture!
Not at all actually, it is very minty green, if you could see against white you would definitely not think that :) , but it was just the lighting I am sure.
I work in the paint department at THD. That product can be tinted ANY color… any Behr color, Ben Moore or Sherwin Williams, and color matched! I’m so sorry the associate helping you didn’t know this!
Yes I found out after from so many people - I thought it was odd - I had brought a Behr color to the counter and that is what she told - since I didn't know any different I went with it. It worked out ok, I liked the color I chose - but I hate when things like this happen when we are depending on someones expertise!
I was also told that by 3 different paint people there. The one employee said certain colors they can, like blacks but some colors dont work right with it and might not come out right

My home Depot will do any color of chalk paint. There is something they have to do to it to mix the off card colors. Maybe not all paint mixers know how to do it? Not sure.

I really didnt like it too much but i only used it once and didnt like brushing it. It was my first time spraying paint so i cant say by the paint because i think issues were me.Lowes used to sell valspar chalk paint and i loved that stuff but got rid of it and now have krylon which i havent used yet
@@BorninaBarnBoutique I agree with you. I'm newish still. I've mostly worked with Jolie paint which is 1000x better than the first paint I used which was Rustoleum 🤫. The only reason I bought that was because it was the first thing that popped up on my amazon search. Live and learn 😆 I look forward to more of your reviews! Your pieces are amazing!

Oh yes Rustoleum - not a fan, I did a review and then after tried again and didn't like - I didn't make the cut in my video of all paints I have ever reviewed - would not recommend. Thank you! I don’t like rustoleum, so for me I thought it was better. I did an update video on all my reviews and rustoleum didn’t make the cut, I didn’t care for it after trying it more. Stay tuned for the piece of furniture I do with it!

Thanks for the review. I’ve seen the the Behr paint but haven’t tried it - but will give it a go now. I like your info about getting drag on the second coat. I usually experience that with a couple all in one paints I use even when I wait over night for the second coat. Not sure what I am doing wrong. Thanks again for another great video.
Of course, thank you for watching. Yes the drag is real and depending on the formula it can be more prevalent than some. Using a mister water bottle can help that, but I feel like fo the video I didn't need or want to use one to get the best possible test of the paint possible.

I have been using this paint for the last year and I have had good luck with it. Since I sell my pieces at a consignment store that keeps 41% of the sale price, I needed a lower priced paint. It hasn’t looked cheap on my pieces and so far it still looks nice after a year. I’m excited to get your opinion on how it sprays so I can start spraying soon. I have wanted to try fusion but it is a bit pricey. Thanks for always answering my questions on Instagram. You have been a really big help to me. I feel like we are friends. 🙂

Didn't know they made a chalk paint.
It is better for furniture, the household paint or wall paint can tend to peel or have adhesion issues on furniture and cabinetry.

I just bought some and they told me they could mix any color. I picked out my colors and they mixed them. Sounds like you got wrong information.
