Hi Henry, great video as always. No. 7 is a fantastic loco and can’t wait to see her at Legends of Steam at East Lancs in two weeks with Britannia fingers crossed. It’s annoying when you get someone walking in your shot and spoils it but people this day and age don’t care about what you’re doing and think they ate doing the right thing. Two steamers in one day, wow what a treat for a Saturday evening. Nice to meet you at Chester today. Have a lovely evening.
What an eejit walking beyond the yellow line. It certainly didn't spoil your shot though, not much could upstage SNG looking stunning and shiny. Great capture of 44871 too. Very fond of the Black 5s.

Nice to see your recording o 44871 being dragged out from Euston which I missed. I could have stayed longer if I knew 60007 was going to be so late. You took some great footage at KX and once again our paths must have crossed several times.

Congratulations and what's more, these engines are often at the head of special trains. I've noticed that all these engines and also the diesel locomotives have a name. Could you explain in a future video how these names are chosen, by whom etc. etc.? I hope that the translation of my text is not too bad. Thank you again for your remarkable work.👍👋🇫🇷
Hello. Thank you very much! Yes, we do have quite a few steam locos but only a small number of them run on the main line. I visited the Ajecta Festival at Longville last year and it was great to see so many locomotives in steam. Seeing a Mallet on the main line was amazing as was the 241P. Thank you for the suggestion on locomotive names, I'll have a think about you. You're welcome and thank you for watching. :)
When I’m always out with video camera, I’m trying to get to the end of the station. Get yourself more the end of the platform so no one can video walking in front. I hate that. Just let yourself great. Have a good day.🇬🇧👍
Did you offer to chin said person who ruined shot? I tend to find they run away fully aware of what they’ve done. So that’s why I follow them. Lovely film though Henry super stuff
I think I must be going colour blind, I saw one video of Sir Nigel Gresley and he looked all black but this time he had a lovely kingfisher blue colour as well. I do hate to see the steam locos being dragged backwards by a diesel though.
In 2022 Sir Nigel Gresley was running as 4498 in LNER Wartime Black. Regarding steam locos being dragged backwards, Kings Cross is a dead end so we really don't have any other choice!
@@HenrysAdventures Yes of course a bit slow on the uptake I realised no turntable and that it is a terminus. Should have remembered used to live in London and travelled a lot from Kings Cross station by steam engines when I was a child, afraid my braincells aren't as alert as they used to be. Sir Nigel looks elegant in both his shiny black and his new colour blue colour. Thanks Henry
