New Electric Fuel Pump from 1AAuto.com 1aau.to/ia/DEFP...
This video shows you how to install a new TRQ fuel pump with integrated sending unit in your 1997-2003 Ford F-150. Combustion engines need three things to operate: fuel, air, and spark. If your fuel pump isn’t delivering the fuel your engine needs, it will run poorly, or not at all. Or, the pump is fine, but your fuel gauge isn’t working. Many modern pumps include an integrated sending unit. Either way, a new engineered to fit fuel pump for TRQ is just what you need.
This process should be similar on the following vehicles:
1997 Ford F-150
1998 Ford F-150
1999 Ford F-150
2000 Ford F-150
2001 Ford F-150
2002 Ford F-150
2003 Ford F-150

Thank you brother for your help in this video God bless you thank you very much
I was going to replace my fuel pump (entire assembly). After watching your video, I decided to replace just the pump. Probably this is one of the best video about replacing fuel pump. thanks for sharing
Do this outside! Borrow a floor jack. Support tank with it. Remove tank straps. Drop tank slightly( an inch or two). Disconnect refill hose and vent hose. Siphon tank to less than 5 gallons or empty if able through fuel tank refill at the tank connection point. Then drop a bit more. Disconnect all hoses and electrical at tank, including fuel pump electrical. Then Drop tank to ground. Remove fuel pump assembly. Slide tank out if needed just forward of rear wheel. There is clearance there. Change all parts. Finally, reposition completely empty tank underneath. Reverse process for re-install. I did it. My truck isn't lifted. Take your time! Take a day or two. Don't smoke! Use hand tools only. It took longer for back ordered strainer(10 days).
If you have to replace your pump and you have a crew cab, you MUST drop your tank. Do not try to take your bed off, you will not have access
Thank you very much for this video! I was able to use this video as a guide to pull the fuel pump out and replace. I also used your fuel filter replacement video during my trouble shooting process of elimination. I greatly appreciate guys like you posting videos like this to help us degenerates fix things ourselves. Thanks again big guy! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

why does it look like an old tank in the beginning and a brand new towards the end
What a difference having the right tools makes. My pops is a dinosaur and had me doing these things old style😅 which I can appreciate but boy what a pain.
Great video as usual but I’m really surprised you didn’t mention how you cleaned the inside of the tank or released the pressure from the fuel lines ?
Talking about the breather vent tubes. Let's say those weren't slid on all the way. What exactly would happen
Where did you get that tank support. And what is it called. ? F150 fuel tank support rack ?
Great video brother.
That's a nice job but why not replace the sending unit as well since all the parts are the same age? Easier for you and a benefit for the customer because then all of the fuel system parts are brand new and they won't have any more future problems.
excellent video. good quality!
Thanks very helpful!!!!
Nicely done video
Good vid.
Do not use an impact on those first bolts he took out, you’ve been warned. Clips break.
That was a fuel tank replacement on top of the pump.
Seems like if you have a lifted truck dropping the tank is cake
Yeah, BOOM! 😂
Vent hose was garbage. I would of replaced it
Wouldn't it have been so much easier to unbolt the bed and slid it back a bit? Or am I missing something?
