@@inthefade let's just put it this way, while there where some stuff left at the end of the second. Dark dawn is not just a worse game it also ends in a outright cliffhanger
Fun fact, this isn't the only massive break in Lost Age! Lost Age has a incredibly glitchy zone transition system, one that could be witnessed by even casual players by sheer accident. Usually, this just qualifies as basic wrong warping, but what makes this incredibly interesting is that one usage for this "wrong warping" is to glitch particular events out... one event of which is located in Air Rock, one of the earliest dungeons in the game. by doing a specific setup of actions, you can make the game erroneously give the player a seemingly infinite amount of Sol Blades, the most powerful weapon in the duology. with that, you can get not one, but two Sol Blades for Isaac and Felix, but also get plenty enough needed to have enough money for any shop interactions needed for the rest of the run! the Sol Blade and it's Megiddo ability is outright game breaking too, shattering the difficulty of 90% of the story bosses. TL Plexa has already made a video detailing this discovery over on his youtube channel ^-^
@@reginlief1 Not just that, but you can perform this glitch as early as you have access to Air's Rock. And as I said, it's a early game dungeon, so getting this outright wrecks the entire game's difficulty. the exploit is repeatable, easy to perform, and there's no limit to how many Sol Blades you can generate. It's by far the ultimate speedrunning exploit imho. bit of a shame you can't dupe Valkyrie Mail though, there's no known way to get it early enough to do the other clone glitch later in the game.
@@bramble553 There's an even better glitch now, You can get Isaac in the Gabomba statue, just have start the game with a password that gives him max stats and a bunch of broken items for the rest of the party.
