I like the new liners, but they're not ones I use with glossy and super hydrating products. Love them in their own it with a satin or matte lipstick.

Thanks so much. I picked this blouse up a couple of years ago and it's one of my favorite for spring. The Haus Labs blush is so nice. I'm very impressed. Maybe it's time to try more from the brand.
Not new, but new to me. I picked up the Persona powder blushes in Carmel and Bubble. Both beautiful! New to me sunscreen, the Saint Jane luxury sun ritual pore smoothing. It’s very primerish. I just got a back up. Love.

Hi Rebecca 😊 I enjoy my Viseart palettes alongside my Chanel, Dior and LE eyeshadows. As a fellow 49yo I can highly recommend the Cle de Peau eyeshadow quads. They are specifically made for mature eyes and they are just gorgeous and worth the luxury price tag but you should be able to get them on sale somewhere in the US. I have to buy from Japan or cult beauty as CDP is not available at all in Aus. Suqqu and addiction Tokyo also make beautiful high quality eyeshadows well suited to mature eyes and at a very reasonable price point for luxury - in line with LE pricing.

I haven't tried much from CdP but I appreciate the recommendation. I need to try some Dior and Chanel shadows. I think my foray into luxury lipsticks has really piqued my curiosity about other luxe beauty products. Viseart makes some of my favorite shadows. I have quite a collection.
I've nearly picked up some Suqqu on several occasions, but they're not as easy to come by in the US. 🤷♀️ Maybe I just need to try then anyway. Thanks for watching today.
I really like the Lisa Eldridge tint. I also bought the new Supergoop tint and spf combo product because in Arizona in the summer any more makeup just slides away. I also go two of the EL lip pencils which will also be great for summer.
I'm really liking the LE skin tint. I'm glad it's working well for you. I can't pick up more foundation or skin tints right now, I'm swimming in so many new ones. ( Lisa's, Danessa's, the Prada foundation and the About Face foundation.)
I hope you survive this summer. We only have about 3 weeks of triple digits where I live each summer, but it's still hot enough the rest of the summer. 🥵

The MbM lipstick in 917 is so pretty and ultra comfy. I need to pick up another shade. The YSL quad is so lovely. I'm now very curious about other color options.

From what I’ve heard, the shade Cheer from those Rare blush highlighters is the most icy/metallic and highlightery and the least blushy among all the shades
I see that now. I picked it up because it was marketed as Selena's go to shade. The photos looked so pretty, and I thought if it looks so good on Selena, it should work for me too. I'm sure they have other blush on her for the campaign photos, but that's my bad for not doing more research and looking for swatches and PR recommendations from other creators.
I picked up the Rare Beauty blush in Happy. I use it as a topper. I ordered the new ND powder foundation. I'm excited to see what it does. Great reviews as always. Have a wonderful weekend ❌️ ⭕️
I'm trying to decide between the ND and the HG powder. I know the ND can be used both as setting powder and powder foundation. Have a great weekend.
@thelipstickgal I absolutely picked it because it will work for both. I will wait until see what it is about before I decide on the Hourglass. I have heard the HG runs very light. Take care.
I need to do more research before I try either, but they have my attention.
I just made a big sunscreen order from Yesstyle and Stylevana for summer and I got a couple of tinted spf lip balms … I hope they get to me okay lol! I’m def not getting a ph adjusting one the Clarins pitaya was like florescent pink on me 🤦♀️ not flattering lol hope u are well! Thanks for all the updates 🪴🪴🪴🪴☀️☀️☀️🤍🤍🤍🌸🌸🌸 my black Iris’s finally bloomed I got white and pink ones that re-bloom they are gigantic I’ve never seen bigger flowers and frilly immortality is the white one soooooo gorgeous and fragrant! I haven't had iris's in the garden since I lived in Michigan. My bleeding hearts are coming up and my peonies are starting to grow buds. I can't wait to see what they look like later this spring. My hyacinth and daffodils are mostly done, but they made for lovely vases of flowers inside earlier this month.
I ordered lots of sunscreen recently too. Between my kids and I, we go through lots of korean SPF. I ordered from BloomingKoco and I liked the sale they were having on the Beauty of Josen. I ADORE Natasha Denona and her products and I was so taken with that highlighter when I saw her video. Luckily I couldn't get it right away as then I saw some reviews and realised it was a miss. The Fenty one, which I thought looked a bit boring, actually looks WAY nicer.
I just returned the ND Glow Beautifier today. It's a "nice" highlight on me, but I want something better than that. There are so many beautiful highlights out there, that I don't want to hang on to a $48 one that just seems to be mid tier.

Love YSL..lots of lip products and picked up the ltd ed Bronzer.. beautiful at Nordstrom and was 15 percent off as they were matching Macy's sale! Not a big shadow gal including Chanel Ravage and others to use!!ty!
I've been eyeing that LE bronzer from YSL. Do I need it? No! Will I get it? Maybe. : ) I love that Nordstrom, bloomindales and Macys are all having a 15% off right now. I don't need to get any more stuff, but I'm glad that those department stores are giving such a great discount on luxe beauty products. I'm just starting to dip my toe into luxe eyeshadows. I have so many luxe lippies, but not much else. Maybe this YSL quad will be the beginning of a new luxury adventure. Thanks for watching.
And I am very happy with LE skin tint, use it everyday since longer than a month and I really like the finish and how it looks after 6 h... also loving the Epice quad by Viseart, great for summer

I’ve been disappointed in LE & About Face skin tint/ light foundations because they have both broken me out. I really like both of them, so I try to wear them for as short a time as possible.
I am curious to try the DM tint in lieu of the above (and NDs new powder foundation because her Y1 concealer is the best winter color match I’ve ever found) but, we’ll see…!

Thank you so much. I surprise myself when I reach for purple eyeshadow. I do have to ask myself "who am I?" : ) It's not the first shade of eyeshadow I normally reach for, but I realize now that it's these softer and less intense shades that work so much better for me. Royal purple looks too intense on my fair skin. I should've realized that years ago, but . . .

I had the same experience with the Panorama mascara but then I used it with the Lash Paradise primer and now I really like it. It is not the easiest to get off but I use my balm cleanser first and then go over it with Neutrogena oil free eyemakeup remover. I have short sparse lashes.
I'll try it with a primer. Thanks for the recommendation. I'm pretty lazy when it comes to my lashes. I have a lash lift and tint kit here at home that's been sitting for over 2 months. I haven't taken the time to do it. I also have gotten really lazy and don't curl my lashes like I used to. Part of why the Panorama isn't working for me is because I'm not spending the time I used to spend. Thanks so much for watching and reminding me to be gentle with makeup removal. I double cleanse, but still have problems occasionally.
@@thelipstickgal I love your channel by the way….and as for being lazy….yes I prime my lashes before mascara….but I went to bed in full makeup more than once this month! And it wasn’t because I was tipsy from a night out! Sometimes it’s tiring to do all the steps. So I hear ya!

From what I have seen the Rare blushes are a bit "off" in terms of ratio of the base colour to the pearl. Apparently I can get oily enough throughout the day that even the og LE lip pencils break up on me after 6ish hour mark, not dramatically but the crisp lines are most surely gone haha. Same for the new sculpt pencils. I have been enjoying a love affair with the makeup lines of Hermes and Prada (how boujee of me 🤣).
I like the idea of the Rare blushes, but I agree. More pigment, less pearl would fix the shade I have. It doesn't inspire me to want to get another one. I love the OG pencils from LE, but they work really well for all day wear for me. 10+ hours. These new ones work well with less hydrating lip products, but I do have to reapply after a meal. That's ok. I'm used to carrying around liner as well as lipstick. I've been doing that for decades.
I have been loving the Prada lippies and the foundation. I only have one Hermes product, and I really like it. It's a satin lipstick. I would like to try more Hermes, but I'm not sure what to try next. I'll have to peruse the collection. Thanks so much for watching and have a lovely weekend.

I am in love with Hermes satins too. I have a bronzer and a blush. They are rather expensive and the packaging is not as luxurious as the lipsticks but the actual products are very good. Buildable, flattering and blurring on the skin.
@@mariam.a. I just saw someone else talk about how much they love the Hermes Bronzer. The price is what makes it a difficult purchase. That's Tom Ford territory for me.
I love having a liner with me, especially now that I'm pushing 50. I want to make sure I have everything I need to keep my bolder colors where I want them.
@@thelipstickgal I totally understand. I really enjoy the bronzer but do I €95 enjoy it....not really. I think there are fabulous formulas out there which are far less expensive. I actually think Pat's bronzers are amazing.
Hey, how are you? I purchased the Panorama mascara in brown (I like brown in warmer months when I wear less shadow), I normallly use Lash Paradise also from L'oreal and I think I like the Paradise a bit more, it gives me more volume and curve and I like the brush more. What I like about the brush in Panorama is that I never finish with mascara on my eyelid close to the lashes while applying it (maybe is how I apply it, don't know) but it is very "clean" to apply.
I somehow manage to get mascara on my lid almost every time I apply mascara from any brand. It's a mystery but I manage to do it so frequently. I've been thinking about trying some brown mascaras, but I'm fairly happy with what I have right now. I also have to get through all the open tubes and back up tubes I have on hand. Thankfully my kids have been raiding my back up stash of mascara recently and my stash is shrinking. I was worried they'd go bad before I ever cracked them open. I shouldn't have so much waiting in the wings.
I'm in a lot of pain these days, but playing in makeup is a wonderful distraction. It's a great way to think about something that brings me joy, and then have fun talking makeup in the comments with people who enjoy it as much as I do. Thanks for watching, and have a wonderful weekend.

I love the YSL shadows, too. My go- to is visiart, but the YSL were a nice treat. I am also really eyeing the RMS brushes and may get some this weekend, as I love a glowy blush. I can’t see myself even attempting the new Rare blushes, and not because I have problematic or textured skin, but I just don’t see them being flattering on anyone - maybe as a topper but with a nice glowy blush, that’s not needed. I am so interested in the new YSL, but I have really been struggling with the candy glazed now - and I bought 5 😂I feel like I MUST make them work. I thought I was over applying the candy glazed but am soooo careful 😂I really want to try both the YSL , and think you’re right - they are probably very similar and will boil down to color choice. I have 3 of the new YSL balms in my cart, but think the the other new formula will suit me more
I'm sorry you're having problems with the candy glaze. I haven't noticed any issues, but I have nude shades and the clear one. I decided to skip the brighter shades until I found a liner that could contain the hydration. Maybe it's good that I stick to the nudes. 🤷♀️
I'm stating to think I need to try more luxe eyeshadows. These from ysl are stunning. I'm not sure if it's formula, or the color story I'm enjoying more. 🤷♀️ Thanks for watching today and enjoy the weekend!
@@thelipstickgal I agree with playing with different eye shadows, as I am in a serious faze of that, too. As far as the candy glaze, it’s totally not an issue with the shades/bright ones, and they don’t seep into lip lines. It’s so weird that when I re applied the same shade in the afternoon, I had no issue 😂 I think it’s a me thing🤣. I just think they are think and I do live for that, but you need to apply keeping that in mind and I am a habitual over applied of lippies
I got Haus Labs in pomelo peach during the sale and absolutely love it. Hard pass on the Rare Beauty blushes, has gotten very mixed reviews and way too highlighty for me. The Patrick Ta was out of stock during the sale but maybe I will not get it now, very happy with what I have. Plus that one looks big , which could create storage issues for me. I also got the YSL in 202 and love it! And the Armani 109 you recommended in your luxury lip series - really love it, it's a neutral but with enough peach that it doesn't look pink or washed out, it's real, flattering color. And I love the tear drop shape, so easy to apply. Two things going back: Clean Reserve in Warm Cotton - liked it in store, but got it home and smelled like straight-up Tide. Nope. And the Clarins lip oil - it's not bad, it's actually really good, but I realized it's basically identical to the NYX and Nooni lip oils (in color and texture) that I already have and likely won't use up for a long time). Trying to keep it curated.
The Haus Labs blush really surprised me. I like it a lot! I think the Rare blushes are just ok. I'm not in love, but I'm probably not going to return it. I really like how beautiful the Patrick Ta formula is. I have two blush shades, and I have been enjoying them so much this spring.
I'm glad that you like the YSL in 202 and the Armani in 109. That's such a great formula. I like the 109 better than the red 400. The formula is the same, but I just reach for the nude shade more than the red. Who would've thought?
I'm not a fan of the Clean fragrance line. It's just not for me. I have tried so many samples that worked well, and when I purchased the larger size, it wasn't working. I hate it when that happens. That's why I'm not much of a fragrance person. I know what I like, and I wear it to death.
I haven't tried the Nooni lip oils. I feel like there's a difference between the NYX and the Clarins, but maybe it's just me. I prefer the doe foot on the Clarins, and I don't love the shades that NYX has in the Fat Oil Lip Drip. Maybe I haven't tried the right shades, but . . . I'm willing to pay the $30+ for the Clarins in Chocolate. That's my favorite shade.

Ps been on a massive fragrance journey this spring. Top favorites are Estée Lauder beautiful magnolia and Chloe eau de parfum. Both floral and elegant, long lasting, not too sweet but not too heavy. And even my allergy-prone husband likes them! Testing lazy Sunday Morning now as I still am on the hunt for a light clean fragrance when I don’t want a full on perfume.
@@thelipstickgal I tried the clearing in strawberry but I realize I was hoping for something more like chocolate. Maybe in the next sale! If you get a chance try the new summer Fridays lip oil- I like it better than any of these others.

I kid you not: before I started watching this video, I was thinking of asking you if you could Swatch your makeup by Mario lipstick because I really want to get one and since I have a similar skin tone, it would be great for me to see which colour might suit me. Just when I thought I like the lipstick you're wearing... You pull out 917 which is on my wishlist 😄❤️💄

Ooh, I really like 917. The formula is amazing. I really like the packaging too. It's giving more luxe than I would expect for $26. I feel like the color selection is excellent for an initial release. I hope they add more shades to this line of lipsticks. I'm super impressed.

There are several that I like. beauty of josen SPF 50, biore UV aura aqua rich (only the Japanese version) krave beauty the beet shield/beet the sun SPF 40. I hope that helps. I also like many of the Missha sunscreens.
Yes, this helps a ton. It's the biore one I was looking for but couldn't remember the name.

I ordered a new shade of the loveshine and i hope i like it better then the first one i tried. I def scoffed when i saw the butter balm and read PH - why!? Ugh lol
Yeah, when I figured out they were pH adjusting I was so disappointed. I was hoping for a sheer, but balmy glow from the butter balms. That's a swing and a miss for me. I hope you like the new shade you picked up in the loveshine.
MS blushes are more expensive, better, but reminder: they have 20% coupons, making them close to the same rice as RB! You want to talk about skin-like? MAC Studio Radiance is unparalleled and underrated.

I feel like there might be a few similar shades between this YSL in 100 to the I Need a Nude. I don't have the Sigma palette you mentioned, so I can't compare. I like that it's compact. I always prefer a smaller palette. 6 or less shades is my favorite size. That's why I've been loving this quad. (same for the viseart quads)
