I like the foundation, but not the puff that comes in the compact. I'm dousing myself in that Valentino fragrance. I forgot to mention loving my Balm DotCom as well, but I'm so happy the original formula is back!
At the moment I am loving Delina La Rosee by Parfums de Marly and Frangipani by Ormonde Jayne, a fresh fruity floral and a clean citrusy white floral scent. For snacks I have always loved cashews with dried mango and of course 85% dark chocolate. I have been trying to drink less coffee, with no success yet.
I can't seem to stop with the coffee. I have an espresso maker at home, so I'm making all sorts of coffee beverage all the time! I’m so intrigued by that Clarins eyeliner! I have small hooded eyes and hate wearing eyeliner, but it sounds like this may be such a great way to subtly define my eyes a bit. Definitely buying that! And what you say about desaturated eyeshadow is a lesson I have just recently learned. Also a pale girl, I love eyeshadow palettes but find them so overwhelming on my features. A Sephora employee convinced me to try their Precious Gemstones palette in Pearl, and it has been such a joy to use. Softer, buildable shades are apparently what I’ve needed in my life! I adore Viseart, so I may have to pick that one up!
It's taken me a long time to stop chasing the trends (or palette of the moment) and think about what will be the most flattering eye look for me. I love the Natasha Denona I need a nude palette because it's also desaturated. I'm always looking for softer shades that aren't crazy intense. I don't mind pigmented shadows as long as they're desaturated. It's a lesson it's taken me a long time to learn. The Clarins liner is really great for helping to define the eye in a subtle way. When I use it to darken the gaps in my lash line and use a soft color on the lid, it's the easiest glam ever!

My recent favorite in the beauty world are both from RMS…the Kakadu Beauty Oil and The Redimension Hydra Powder Blush in Crystal Slippers! I use the oil with my nighttime skincare routine. It’s so soothing with natural oils and antioxidants. The blush is a beautiful natural shade which pairs with Lisa Eldridge’s bright pink lipsticks I’ve been wearing a lot! I noticed how smooth and bright your under-eye areas are right away! I’ve been trying this hack with the Aquaphor lip balm with moderate success. I think it depends on the concealer. My Surrat concealer creased even after applying powder. The Nars’ soft matte worked better but it did not hold up when right eye teared up for unknown reason. I really have crepey under-eye areas. What skincare and makeup do you use for that area? Thank you!
I have a variety of concealers that I like to use. My favorites are full coverage like the Natasha Denona concealer, the Estee Lauder double wear radiant concealer, and the Hourglass vanish concealer. For my under eyes I currently using an eye cream from beauty pie. I use a dedicated eye cream but I don't have a favorite. I keep changing my eye cream based on what I have in my skincare stash. I don't frequently repurchase the same thing because I'm curious about something I haven't tried yet. 🤷♀️🤭 Thanks for your kind words regarding my chronic pain. I appreciate it. ❤️ I LOVE the RMS blush in crystal slipper. It's such a pretty shade and goes with so much. I haven't tried the oil, but it sure sounds interesting. Thanks for the recommendation.

Congrats on pain-free days! Many may they be. I enjoy your reviews of some of the more niche, independent brands that I can't get in the UK. I just add them to my (ever growing) list for a potential yrip to the US. I think that the LE skin tint is so much more than thinned out foundation. Maybe it's the skinvare that absorbs in, leaving the lightest of tints.
I have never LOVED a skin tint like I love the one from LE. It's so good. I think it's the most elegant formulation of a base product I've tried in such a long time. I also ordered all 5 of the new Balm Embrace shades earlier this week. I'm so here for whatever Lisa releases, but this type of lip product is right up my alley. If you're ever stateside, pick up some of the things you can't get in Europe. I'll have to do the same next time I'm overseas.
Can I ask why you’re cutting back in mineral water and sparkling water - im just interested bc those are my beverages of choice - I died drink a lot of tea, but my dentist said that tea stains horribly - worse than coffee even - coffee can be brushed off relatively quickly if not sipping in coffee slowly (which I also like to do, boo hoo for me), but tea stains almost immediately- even green tea! Herbal tea! Those turn teeth grey and caffeinated teas make browns spots - it’s so sad for me, bc I think something is wrong bc I’m always so thirsty - maybe I need electrolytes - dentist said sparking water does make the most acid, which is bad, but only a little and wasn’t as worried - I’ve been told before it IS a worry… but doctors change their minds over time with more study, so I’m slightly relieved - but I do have a tea a day still - it’s too hard
I used to work for a dentist, and the acid in sparkling water (especially the ones I like) aren't good for enamel. I just had to have some dental work done, and I'm sure it's due to all the carbonated beverages I love to drink. I'm trying to drink more water and snack less and drink less acidic beverages. My enamel can't handle it well the older I get.
Yes, it's been a hard 9 months. I already deal with a 24/7 headache. I've had it for the last 19 years. It's a complication from my first brain surgery. Adding in the abdominal pain for the last 9 months has been really hard. 😥 Chronic pain is the worst. I'm sorry you suffer from fibromyalgia. I know that's a difficult disease to deal with.

I tried my Smashbox blush last night just the pink one … omg I love it!!!! It looks like a warm pink on me it’s scary in the pan 🤣🤣🤣 that with MAC MODESTY I was Barbie pinks last night LOL!!! Oh, it was Spicy Pink. It's one of my favorites from BP. All the permanent shades are amazing, but if they ever do limited edition shades, snatch them up.
