Oooh. The first time I saw Kim K in Marilyn Monroe's dress, I wanted to retch. Don't get me wrong, she fit it well. But it is SUCH an iconic dress that people KNOW it as "the Marilyn dress," and IF anyone were to wear it, it shouldn't have been someone like Ms Kardashian. She has done NOTHING to deserve that honor. Whoever allowed her access to the dress should be ashamed. Just goes to show, money talks.
Amusing how the mainstream will always frame women's conformity to it as "brave" and "innovative." Also amusing how the media still believes fashion still holds the same sway that it did 20 or 30 years ago.
