The best part in the episode is that all throughout, Kyle is always saying people have to either be Lying or Stupid to believe Cartman. And at the end, Cartman tells Kyle he's not lying and Kyle says "I know you aren't" 😂

By far my favorite thing about your reactions is how you don't just sit there and make shocked faces. You explain things that I never would have known or bothered to look up. Have you ever heard about kopi luwak? It's coffee made from the excrement of a civet that eats the cherries off the coffee bush. It digests the Cherry but not the pit and people go around and pick up after the civet and wash it all off and then roast the coffee beans and make coffee out of it.
I tried it and found it was nothing special, but it's age was unknown. Based on what I had, I actually think it would be really good if you could get it freshly roasted.

I'm trying to resist the urge to address theological questions raised because this isn't a theological channel. But I will say this about the question of "Why would God force Pharoah to say 'no' then punish him for saying 'no'?". If you look closely at the text of Exodus, Pharoah resists God on multiple occasions. God hardens Pharoah's heart once for each time Pharoah hardens his own heart. In other words, God's action is to reinforce what Pharoah decides to do on his own. But Pharoah does eventually learn his lesson. According to Jewish tradition, Pharoah later became the king of Nineveh, and he was the one who led the people of Nineveh to repent and avoid destruction.

I love that plot where future Cartman is a rabbi and Kyle doesn't believe him and thinks it's a very long and involved bit.
One of my favorite episodes. I saw it when it was brand new in highschool, my friends and I couldn’t stop laughing. And Kyle had no idea just how sincere Cartman was being about converting 😂

Just dropping some kudos for all the effort you put into your reaction videos. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been watching you react to something I’ve seen before, and you do a cut away to the original reference that they stole from a film or TV show, and I had never made the connection.
I KNEW there was an older episode where Cartman became a J, but everyone just kept telling me "yeah man, it'sPost-C special" and I thought "no no no, it was at the end of one I saw years ago" but I couldn't remember which one. Mystery solved!
It's hilarious that he went right back to being anti-S right after this.
There's not much Christians could really say to complain about Cartman yelling that Christ is a lie. I mean...Jesus is literally a resident of South Park, who Cartman has had multiple face-to-face conversations with.
The Plagues represented the death of or mock the Egyptian pantheon. The first Plague mocked and or represented the Egyptian Godess Hapi, God of the Nile, the nile running red represents the death of that god and its protection.
The second Plague represent Heqet, who is represented with a frog head, she was the god of fertility.
I cant remember all of the Egyptian gods and all of the plagues but the three days of darkness represents the death of Ra.

It’s funny that they mentioned the frog thing since ther was an Egyptian deity, heqet, who was represented by frogs. Effectively all of the plagues of Egypt were a spit in the face of the Egyptian pantheon.

In Brazil, the issue of Chupacabra, We end up having a lot of territory and many rural areas, and it ends up becoming various types of legends, in the south there are a lot of werewolf stories, in the north and Amazonia they believe in boitata and curupira,Brazilian folklore has a lot of stories and the Chupacabra It's little to mention but well known, in general they even think it's aliens, because of the perfect marks and almost always without blood or some parts removed from animals, cows, goats, sheep, chickens...

The symbolism of the bread that hasnt risen yet and the blood of the sacrificed lamb all connects with Jesus and his death/resurrection.
Back in the day , once the Israelites were in the desert, they set up a kinda temporary temple called the Tabernacle in which God would be with the Israelites while they traveled to Caanan, the land in which he promised Abraham, Issac and Jacob's family*. It was used to cover the cost of sin where the high priest would go in i think once a year to atone for sins.
Then Jesus says his famous 7 "I am" statements which can be represented of the 7 stages of the Tabernacle, saying that He is the way , the Tabernacle. He is the lamb whose sacrifice covers our sins.
Thats just a brief summary of the story but this was just for those who dont know or who never understood the connection to the old testament/passover
Yes it does, but you can't ignore what those symbols meant to the Israelites at the time as well. Unleavened bread is important because leavened bread takes time to rise, and the Israelites were about to have to grab everything and leave very quickly to get out of Egypt after the Passover.

Yeah, ハクビシン(Hakubishin / masked palm civet ) does exist commonly in Japan.
Fun thing about the civet in your area. I don't know that species does it since youre outside the coffee belt, but other civets are known to eat coffee beans and poop them out, and that poop is then gathered and brewed for an incredibly strong coffee.

I'm surprised you haven't reacted to this episode yet considering it's one of the best Butters episodes.
The reason they told Kyle, was because they needed somone to take blame if it went wrong and if it went right, they would claim that they were working with whomever they manipulated. Is what the government and corporations do.
In Maryland where I used to live there is the Goatman, and here in Utah we have Skinwalkers.
